Classic valves are rated to around 15 bps before shootdown. A ULT would not be effective in a classic valve. Throw in an RT on/off to achieve a softer pull (lower LPR pressure needed to trip the sear).

You can pm Tunaman on here, he can set you up with one. You can also order an rt on/off straight off of AGD's website.

im planning on a mech pnue mag unless you have some ideas!! i have not purchased anything as far as pneumatics yet. im still deciding on what to do!! i have seen such thins as ion boards used, but the way im thinking is using cbreave68's kit!! here is the link http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=226161&highlight=pnuemag but im open for ides if you have any let me know and ill think about it!

I was just wondering if you had checked out the egomag threads, such as Latches' egomag (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=211255&page=5&pp=30&highlight=egomag) .

You can search in the tech and workshop forums for "egomag" and get a good amount of info. It's another level of complexity.

Personally, I like electro-pneus with the classic valve and mech-pneus for the reactive valves because of the recharge times and on/off reset. To be mostly chuff-less, a mech-pneu classic valve requires fingers with one of; practice, talent, or concentration. Not so much with a reactive valve.

For your first pneu, I would stick with an RT style on/off in whatever valve you use. You can change to a ULT later if you want. I was unable to take advantage of a ULT because my tickler reg would stick at low pressure. It would work at the same pressure as the RT on/off. If you use a ULT (in a reactive valve), I would use an LPR with a piston larger than a tickler. That has been a problem on the G-Force (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=219595&page=74&pp=30) frames as well.

Like dbp said, Tunaman on here or on the AGD website (http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.prodInfo&productID=399&categoryID=23) .

Either way, consider buying one or two on/off pins of around .712 or .728 in length to play with. They make for easy changes.

EP mags just use a solenoid, control board and switch instead of the MSV-2 valve on a mech pneu. EPs are more complicated, but they keep your fingers from interfering with the cycling of the valve. Some people need that, others don't. The hardest part of either one is laying out and fitting the components into your marker the way you want.

Don't skip the FAQ (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=214736)

You might pm Mann as well I know he was selling off lots of parts a few months back he may have one you can buy that would be cheaper than getting a rt on/off new .
