Barrel shroud

I own a barrel kit with a 6” control sections that are polished albumin. I want to find a shroud that will conceal the aluminum control section ASWELL as protect it. All the shrouds I find on the net attach to the barrel itself, I’d rather not use a shroud if it connects in this fashion. I was wondering is anyone knows of a shroud that mounts onto site rails that will not make any contact with the barrel.

I haven't seen any made to do that. You could probably make or modify one to do that.

In theory you could use a ghetto method of set screwing it in : Give the section the set screws are pressing into a few layers of duct tape.
