What frame do you have? One that I'm fairly sure of is it's not metric, don't recall any mag frames with metric threading. If I had to guess off thre top of my head, I'd start with 6-32.

I have an emag. I'm not too technical but I tried threading the stock screw into the little display that they had and it fit into the size in my first post. But when I got the new bolts home they only threaded in about 1/8th inch into my emag. That does make sense though - i don't think agd would use metric threads. FYI i need them because I just bought a warp feed and the bracket is too thick for the stock bolts to still fit. Thanks
Ya...I can't remember off the top of my head. Go back down there with one of the stock screws and see which one is right. I know Lowes has a board with male and female inserts so you can see which thread type you have. The Lowes down where I live have a better hardware selection then the Home Depot so try them instead.

I'm a little confused. Do you mean bottom line screws. I was thinking grip screws. Standard bottom line are 10-32. (I will check and verifiy that).

Comparing my 10-32 and M5-0.80 taps, they are very close. The stores display must have very worn out threads.
