My New Works Autococker!

Hello all,
Well - As you all know, I had just gotten an Angel - I only had the Angel for 2 hours, before I was offered this beast:


2001 Works Autococker
Custom Orange Anodizing
14" Dye Boomstick ano'ed to match.
14" Dye Boomstick - with straight orange Anodizing
Had a Centerflag reg. I am getting a Macdev Gladiator.
Clear Dye Stickies
Black Shocktech Supa-Fly bolt
Sonic LPR Regulator
Works 3 Way
STO Ram
Chrome Shocktech Drop Forward
Chrome Feed Tube with Orange clamp. This is custom made by CCM(www.chipleymachine.com).


This Autococker is produced by CCM located here in Texas. The person that I traded with is good friends with Marty Garrison(the person who owns the Company). Works Autocockers come with lifetime warranty's and killer milling! This specific marker was one in a tournament 2 months ago, and has been used 2 times. I have yet to play with it, but I have dry fired it. :D Now, for the pictures!

Interesting gun, the milling isn't my cup o' tea. Orange is always good, the only thing I would change is that PALMER microrock.........to a Shocktech FGP. I don't know much about the centerflag regs but the Palmer Stab comes in several colors and is consistent. How long do you plan on keeping this one? An hour?

Lol, you are right - I just realized that I did not even play with the Angel. I only dry fired it 10 - 15 times! Well, I was planning on playing with it, until I was offered this. I did not want to make the trade then, but he was under pressure - because a potential buyer was due in less than 30 minutes. So, if I did not jump on the deal then, it would have been gone. Plus, I know the person, so everything is dandy.:D
Yes, I have been in Paintball for about 5 years - actually took a 2 year break - and started again in November - :) That is when I got my Mag. Lol, I guess I just know how to work the ropes.

You may be able to "adapt" to any gun, but that doesnt mean you'll play as well with it as you would with a gun you are used to.

what's with all these comments about having him on who's team? he hasn't approached anyone to be on their team and just wants to show off his new gun. i don't think there's anything wrong with someone wanting to upgrade their gun...isn't this just a part of being in a capatilistic and democratic society. shoot, i would trade my minimag up for an emag right now if i had the chance (any takerers? :) j/k). for my part, i think its a pretty cool gun. btw, i give it 1 week tops ;).

X-Plosive -------- That isn't a PPS micro-rock on the marker, it's an sonic LPR. I've always used rocks on my cockers, and plan to keep doing so.

I seriously doubt all 3 of those are his. Why would any one buy three of the same gun. Anyways nice gun man. I too have been playing for 5 yrs, and bought my first cocker a month ago. It's a nice gun, but it tends to give me the fever. I want so much on it and none of it is worth it. I spend so much time looking for the latest gimick and NONE OF IT MATTERS! the best thing is to play spend money on paint and practice. I mean when I got this thing I talked to scorch and he said, u need the following (said this to me)
I currently have a shocktech, (nuff said). Well he tells me I need a roller sear, an eclipse hinge, the new ultra short wgp 3way,macdev tank, glad reg, macdev hammer and valve and for a while I believed that I needed all that. All I need is a nice hinge, and a freak and that's all I care about. Though I might want to trade my tank a 114 cu 4500psi dual reg nitroduck for a smaller one(anyone want to trade?). I need to stop rumbling. CONCLUSION Dont go and buy everything for ur cocker go and play. Nice gun though

If he traded after even USING the gun, I'd agree. But he traded away an angel without even owning it for more than 2 hours, and then this gun he sold before having it for what, 48 hours? And this is just the latest in a series of quick trades.

Automag - November 2001 - had it for 2 weeks. Sold it locally.

STO Autococker - December - January 2001-2002. Had it for a month and traded it for an Angel.

2000 C&C Angel LCD - February 1, 2002. Had it for less than 2 hours - traded it for a Works Autococker.

Works Autococker - Feb. 1 - 2 2002 - had it for a day and sold it.

Lol, I am crazy! I might get another Works Autococker, and trade that for a Dark Angel - :) I am the wheeling dealing man.

I don't think anyone ever cared that he's trading up. If he's getting better stuff, good for him....what we were complaining about was hearing about it all the time. Notice I said were, that's because this thread is old and noone cares anymore....
