THIS IS THE THING FOR ACURACY I SAY A COCKER HAS BETTER ACURACY

Don't use caps please, it's annoying.

Try the search feature: This post has been posted/asked numerous times. It'd save time and energy if you tried to look on search first.

BTW, Cockers are not more accurate.

lol... give the newb a break. He doesn't know any better.

OK, this has been argued millions of times. do a search and look in a physics book.

oh, and when you post your opinion, back it up with something. maybe, why you think its more accurate. some thing like, "cockers are more accurate because of secret gnomes inside." i know my mag is accurate because i have very good elves inside....i pay them well too

I didn't mean newb to paintball... I meant newb to the forums... sorry about not keeping that clear.

Icecool...FYI: I don't have a life! lol, I just have too much spare time on my hands and my parents aren't home so I can't do anything.

NO excuse! LOL, I feel for ya, when I'm not at work, or out playing(which I'm glad for ya now that you get to) I'm usually on here at AO,Warpig,PBcity,or PBnation(only PBcity and Nation, because not alot of you AO members have enough insite on Impys :-D).

The moral of this story is: Don't be a postwhore*cough* Foo Temps*cough*

ok,first off,are we talking stock markers,or "pimped" markers here.If stock, the cocker will definitly have better accuracy, its closed bolt design gives it more accuracy than a mag.Autocockers also are lower operating pressure.

Jonno,

It doesn't matter stock or not. The Impulse has a lower opperating pressure than the Cocker, by about 150 psi, is it more accurate? Didn't think so. The closed bolt deisgn over open-bolt design just means the Cocker is a self-pumping pump gun, hence the AUTO-cocker.

Now, if you read up on the info, If a paintball the same size and shape comes out of a marker with the same barrel at the same velocity it will have the same trajectory.

No vote for this one ...
Where can I vote: "All exactly the same" ???

I had to come in here and look at this. It was just too tempting.

It makes me laugh.

Simply visit this link to Deep Blue and have all your questions pertaining to accuracy answered in physics form.

Briefly summarized, it states that the 'gun with the highest ROF and most consistant valve has the best possible accuracy, or more to the point, consistancy, of course assuming all else is equal. At least, I hope I summarized it correctly.

E-mag: The others can't hit anything if you're not shooting them!

The question this time is "Which is more ACCURATE" not "Which has longer RANGE". In this case the most important thing is consistency. Which guns come with the best stock regs? STOs or E-mags, that is the question! Being able to sight down the barrel is another thing but they are all about the same after you get a bit of time to adjust.

accuracy wise, RTs and Emags will have the same accuracy.

STO Cockers are defenetly more accurate than stock cocks. STOs have Ergro(sp?) regs whch is more consistant than stock cock's regs. But its really easy to just buy an aftermarket reg such as an AA Unireg and have +/- 2 fps.

LOL, only on Automags Online would the Mags beat the Cockers in accuracy. You guys are great :D .

ok...the old cocker vs. mag...lol. each is better in different ways and for different playing styles. they both proform pretty much the same. the cocker tends to break easily and is heavier, bigger, and more complicated. the mag is light, small.....well yall get my idea. it's all up to you and what you prefer

My mag was heavier than my cocker...

How did you come to that conclusion?
