how fast can you shoot? who has the fastest trigger finger. i was wondering how fast everyone can shoot and what guns they use to shoot that fast.

i'll tell ya right now, no one here can shoot over 13bps. i think it was miscue who has the video clip of his hyperframe doing 13bps.

I think, with a mechanical trigger more than 9bps are impossibel (except the "sweet spot" of a RT).
With an electronical you should be able to do 10 with a little practice 12 ... but more is verry rare ...

LOL. A while ago when I first started getting into paintball, there was a ref at this one field who claimed that he could shoot 18 balls a second with his LED Angel. So I asked him to show us this "magical" angel. He shows it to us and tries to fan the trigger as fast as he can. Blink....blink...blink... goes the LED. Me and my friends could hardly control laughin becuase he was probably shooting 6-8 bps max.

As for me, I'm not exactly sure how fast I can shoot with my SFL. The closest way I could measure it was shoot as fast as I could in 60 seconds and see how many shots I got off. I calculated an average of 11.2

i can do around 11 with my matrix. its so easy to get a nice string going with it

i don't know how many bps he can actually do but i do know he can out shoot an e-mag with his stock spyder se. i know i didn't belive him ethier but he proved us wrong at a small game we played. i'll get his bps checked at the dive shop and get back to ya.

Justin, SURE he can. ;) People can and have done 13 bps on an Emag, that NOT possible on a Spyder.

Maghappy and his Rat rip, I'd say 10 BPS or more.

i dunno maybe the guy with the e-mag just sucked but he did outgun him . e-mag was semi

There is a difference between sustained ROF and peak ROF. Most people who say 12, let alone 14 are exaggerating. Mental/Visual measurements in paintball is like fishing.

"Yeah, i sniped a guy at 50 yards"
"The fish was THIS BIG!!"

I think i was one of the 4 people who actually used the ROF limiter on my LED angel. Occasionally, i could spike 2-3 shots close together and out run my loader, but it was never intentional. No way i could 12+ for more than a shot or two. With the limit, i could prevent those freak occurances. There is also a difference between how fast i can shoot at the chrono range and how fast i can shoot lying in a fetal position behind a 2' tube.

People spend so much money to squeeze the extra 2% performance or to prevent rare events when a couple hours of excercise would improve their game much more.

sound clip of me shooting my Cocker. It's approximatly half a meg so should take about 2-3 mins for dial up users, and about 10 seconds for broadband users.

I havn't installed Sounds Forge yet so i'm not sure what th ROF is. I think it's about 8-10 twards the end. You can tell that i can't keep a constant string of firing due it being a machanical trigger, and can only take short 3-5 burst shots quickly.

I would be willing to bet you've never seen Brad Dewees from 720 Video (Did the supertour video) pull the trigger on his warp body emag. I have yet to see anyone that can hold a candle to him. I don't think he's ever been tested, but I would venture to say the 14 or 15bps range. He's not a bad player besides!!

ive seen 15 done on a spyderman angel (showed on the lcd) and i can do 11 on my impy normally my friend also can do about 13 or so on my impy so high rof is possible.

i said no one here can do more than 13. Tom Kaye has been seen shooting 12-13 on his mags. he has said this himself. BPS is very vaugly measurable. you could maybe shoot 15bps, but only for 2 shots. think about it. the bps is the time it takes your to fire the ball more than once. i could fire 2 shots at 14bps and say i shoot my mag at 14bps, but when i shoot a string, i only do 6 or 7....

The silly readout onboard guns, will only compute the fastest consecutive shots, not the whole string.

That means, you may have shot 15bps for only two shots, not the ten you actually fired at 9bps.
