View Full Version : Could you make an AKA grip frame work with a pneumag?

I'm in the parts acquisition phase of building a sleeper pneumag and looking at the Magnus Emancipator thread got me wondering if it would be possible to use a Tarantula AKA vert frame I've had laying around for a few years. Seems like if I got the top of the frame cut flush with the trigger guard, milled the interior to allow room for ZapTheMad's cheater and mill the snatch grip around the back screw hole so the field strip screw would work properly and that's it.

Am I missing something? Of course this is beyond my skill set and requires more tools than I have access to, so I'm probably better off waiting on the Emancipator. However the thought of using AKA triggers is cool, but I'm probably over simplifying things.

lol, good way of thinking, with enough force (or cutting/modifying), anything can fit:D

There's more than a hammer and chisel in my tool box!
