I just was rumaging through old folders trying to clear up computer space and found some old pics.

I think I might have posted these here before, but my memory is horrible.

I salvaged these off mrpl.org archive.org a while ago.

yey 3rd place.

Sure no one cares, but I felt nostalgic finding these pics. thought I would share with someone that might recognize them. Know of at least a few people that played at Rogue before. (Pics taken there) and might have encountered myself of teammates.

I'm the pasty weird looking fella that didn't want to wear a jersey. (Not anymore though haha)

I am not a Mainer, but have played up there at Crossfire (now defunct) in Peru. Where is this field located?

There is supposedly a really good field located up in or around Gorham that I have been meaning to make it to on my next trip up, hopefully next summer if all goes well. I also understand that there is a really nice new field over at Rangely too....

I'm not from ME... but I'm just across the boarder. Sorry, I never played in any of those fields

I don't want to say the few details I know since it's someone I respect personal life... But this field is no longer alive. Moral of the story: Don't let women have access to your finances.

Hopefully you are not thinking of the good field in Gorham as Bennetts .... rofl. I got involved in PB because of that field and have so many good memories at that field. But it's not a good field lol. It was outlaw speedball. Anything goes. haha.

Rogue wasn't far off though, so you might have been thinking of that. That was good paintballing but I went to bennett because they let me play and fill for free.

Kirt (Rogue) hooked me up with discount paint at an event those pics were at even after loosing a bet with him for the discount, so mad respect for him.

It's awesome to see those photos. I never really got hooked on the speed ball, I used to attend the woods ball and Spec Ops games that Kirt put on and played out at his woods ball field in Limmington.

Do you still play?

If so you may want to check out Field51 in Gorham. It's a laid back woods ball field with an emphasis on safety, fun and sportsmanship over ever everything else. Some of Rogue Paintball field "Asylum Buildings" have made their way onto the field.

Last Sunday they just had their season closing game (Xmas in November). It was a great day with one of the largest turn outs yet. I spent most of the day camped out in an old rogue building kneeing in the mud protecting our location from being over run. There is rumor that the owner may squeeze out another day if the cold weather holds off. Check out the web page for more details. http://www.field51.com

I've been doing what I can to convert the regulars at the field over the AGD and there are about 3-4 of us that shoot mags. I have two Tac-One loaners that I use to bring them over to the dark side and once they see the firepower, reliability, simplicity and ease of use of the mechanical mag they are hooked and it mostly comes down to them saving their pennies to pick up a mag.

Sadly, I have not played in a long time.
The last time I played it was at the 2005 D-Day. (My squad got an award out of the thousands of people!)

I moved to VT a month ago. I didn't realize there was a new field.

When I'm back in Maine I'll have to check it out. I don't have any more of my gear though. I got random mag parts but not enough to make a marker.

Next time I'm in Maine and you feel like playing and lending out that TAC, wanna hit it up?

edit since you said you played the woodsball games more .. I never really played on the woods ball there. I played the spool and sewage pipe field there before the field was at the shop. Never bothered with the fields in the woods. Buuut.

Do you remember the Scenario game Defend Earth or whatever? Aliens Vs Humans?
I was the spy :ninja:
