Hey you all. You guys gave me so many memories let me say that. I've been out for to long really, some of you know I've been active in the Green Industry of Landscaping and its has had its up and lows. Last year I was up to around $360K gross but was at a 20% profit loss that year. Economy SUCKS!!!!! Got so bad ended up selling a truck, Skid loader and two trailers to just cover state taxes. But thinking I recovered pretty good as the construction side slowed I picked up more into the maintanece side another 30 residentals, and 50 commerical accounts.

Well enough about that I got some pics to show what has been up. By the way I joined the Army as a 21 Echo. But that might change soon.

Start of the finish product. The pass to the Right (Red Pass) is where our road end up going to. Yes there was some blasting but wasn't on that team. Though the "Hippies" of California really tried there hardest to come down on us about tearing up 80 year old plants and taking out half of a mountian. But what really can they do when Federal owns the land and the Army want's a road.

MY Favorite picture up in Red Pass I'm working the Deere 230 with Vue my counterpart working the 330 in the background after blasting the rock away.

Time for trucks
My '03 Dodge 3500 I6 5.9L 6cyl Banks Cummins 5spd with a Air locker. Those tires aren't on there anymore lol. You might have a fast car but get me a chain and I'll tow you around the block like a chew toy.

My El Cheapo! Flatbed 1989 F350 with a 351 Windsor. So far has been the hardest worked since the SuperDuty. Just can't kill it. It looks better right now but its snow covered right now. Bought it with another F250 for $1300 package deal. 250 wasn't worth saving (holes in the frame, box half rotted off, tranny only had 1st and Reverse but doors and hood where good along with the non turboed 7.3). Plus the 350's springs are stacked, was used as a haul molds around a steel foundry.

The Classic F-SuperDuty. I should have never ever gotten ride of this truck as you note I'm still kicking myself in the teeth for selling it. It would out plow the F350 in the background and my F5(FIX ME) being 2wd. If you think I'm on dope saying a 2wd will move more snow maybe but truth is truth when you have granny gears with a low rear end.

Lastly the truck I was looking at getting this year to replace my F550. The old moldy but trusty Duece and Half. Kind of the expensive side for a 68 at 9,000 but it appeared to have some electrical issues. So glad I passed it up. Though would have been cool with a 11ft blade hanging off the front and having a 6x6.

I got my F550 or as I call it F5fixme, ton of problems with it that has sucked enough money to fix it to pretty much pay for a another truck, short list Rebuilt engine, rear end, Now trans. Worst 7.3L I owned. But other F350 7.3L not a problem runs like a champ.

If you ever have brake issues with one of those deuce and a half you are screwed. One is sitting at my lake property right now, and hasn't moved in ten years. With the price of scrap metal I am strongly considering taking the plasma torch after it and making into a bedload of money.

You have one with jucier's? or airbrakes. Most duece's from my expirence have been "ghetto" rigged air brakes. Juice brakes had a big issue of the truck being to large and the brakes wouldn't handle the stopping power needed. I was told by one truckshop, that a peterbilt dealer outsources work to, that they would just cut the axles off and fit new ones up to them. Honestly I don't believe them that they would have to change out axles to accomdate air brakes.
