Okay. First, exactly what happens when a mag short-strokes? I read somewhere that the air is released before the bolt completely closes, thus pushing the next ball up the powerfeed/standard feed. "blooping it" was the term they used, I believe. That would, in turn, cause the next ball to be chopped in rapid fire. Right?
Now then, I started thinking about the new IR3's one-way fall feed thingy in the elbow, and I thought about how that could possibly elimintate chops due to short stroking (that is, if short stroking works the way i think it works...) simply becuase the one-way feed would eliminate the next ball from "blooping" up the feed tube, and therefore be ready to get expelled out the barrel. What do ya think? :)
