help finding a thing

a while back i was somewhere (here or MCB) and remember a thread talking about muzzleloaders but it turned into old air rifles a Grandoni air rifle to be more exact someone was going to manufacture them or knew someone who was or something along those lines. well i'm looking for one. so any help would be appreciated. thanks :cheers:

I learned Beeman researched them, but to manufacture them new would be tremendously expensive. The were very expensive to make in the 1700's, so you could imagine the cost today despite modern manufacture technique.

A little sidenote: The Austrian Army of the early 1800's outfitted special squadrons with 20 shot airguns, deadly out to 100m. Unlike their enemies, they had no voluminous clouds of blackpowder smoke to worry about, and could get off 12 shots to their opponants one.

You can also do a search for Lewis And Clark Air Rifle.. Beeman and a few others have found and have reproduced one just like the original. There is info on the web somewhere I read recently.

yeah i found that lol thats basically all i could find lol. i swear i saw somewere on here someone post picture of one they were making or getting made or something along those lines.
