Like the thread title says, I am looking for a program to create and test wiring diagrams. There was one we used back in highschool that was awesome. I cant remember the name exactly but it had something to do with alligators or crocodiles, the icon was of one too.

the program was super simple drag and drop electrical components, connect them how you needed and it would test the circuit for you. If anyone knows what it was called or where i can find it that would be amazing. Or even something similar, simple is the key though.

Thanks
Mike

I used one called PSpice for my circuits class a few years back. And a whole pile of stuff from national instruments for insturmentation simulation.

Argh you would ask this when I'm 5000 miles from home and without my circuit building software. I can't remember the name of it but it allows you to build just about anything you could want. You can literally make the circuit and complex or simple as you want. In fact it's the same software ITT uses in their classrooms, when they use it.

After doing a quick search I found several basic downloadable programs, freeware, demos, etc you can try. I should be getting home in a week or so and can get you the name of the software I use then.

Circuit Magic (http://www.circuit-magic.com/)
Online Circuit Builder (http://www.smps.us/tools.html)
Virtual Electric Circuit (http://www.tucows.com/preview/250988)
