The wheels of industry take a while to get moving so I thought I would throw this out there in plenty of time for AGD to get this off the ground.

So, who is with me on this idea...a 25th anniversary edition of the Automag? Classic stainless steel body with high polish to represent the traditional 25th anniversay gift - silver. Fit it with the time-tested Classic valve and carbon fiber grip frame and laser engraved AGD company motto "BECAUSE QUALITY SHOOTS STRAIGHT...ALWAYS" on the rail. Maybe weld two threaded places onto the top of the body where one would place a sight rail. Include an aluminum sight rail (similar to the old Taso sight rails) that bolts securely onto the body that is black anno with the company lion logo laser etched onto both sides of the sight rail.

If this would happen, can I pre-order now?!

Maybe TK can authorize someone to make 25th anniversary Classic valves...out of aluminum, :D

I agree, I think a 25th aniversary mag with some sweet stainless steel would be a GREAT idea. If they need pre-orders, I would put it in almost without thinking.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea.

It would be nice and there would certainly be a market for it. Say, a 1000 pieces Limited Edition should sell quite fast. But, honestly, I don't see it happening...

Perhaps making them out of titanium might be an idea? ;)

Sorry to drop in like this, but why not make it something that is the culmination of AGD efforts but still classic?

I mean when a car company rebuilds something that has been a classic like the camaro or mustang, they give it a classic look with a twist of the new and a all the latest technology under the hood.

Why not give it a aluminum body that is polished or chromed with a threaded feedneck, chromed xvalve or polished aluminum so that it looks classic but has the advancments in technology, and comes with a warpfeed.

Thats just my .02

That's a good idea. I can't help but to wonder what TK thinks of this. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he already thought of this...

Dave would be the only one in a position to do this.

Probably for this to happen it would have to be a special edition RT Pro ULE, not a Classic.
In other words valves , rails, and bodies AGD still has manufactured and still sells.
Maybe a special edition barrel and clamping feedneck with a specially lasered 25th anniversary edition Xvalve ?

I'm thinking you'd have a better chance getting something like that seeing how Classic valves
arent being made any more.
Make them all black ULE and Xvalves.

In this economy even keeping them all to one color and keeping them all the same to keep it simple, I'm wondering if 25 or so were made, how long would it take for them to sell, seeing how they'd probably be in the $550-600 dollar range.

I know I'd try and rustle up some green to get one.

^^

Very nice, Iv yet to shoot mine. But I hope to have good results.

It would be nice to have a Anniversary edition mag, But maybe just a Valve? or body? Its not as nice as a complete gun but would be cheaper and Id want to use it with my current mag.
