Hey, Smooth, I believe you misplaced my pic. The oldschool should be the Euro High Rise Classic RT.

I have to say, I'm voting for #1 if only because Intelliframes and brand new 90* frames aren't classic

I think that the "old school" lines are getting a little blurred over the past few months. MSPD... you called it. Fantastic marker but should be in the open class. Anyways  nice markers

Agreed... pneu I'm cool with, but once major original components come out it's open... or at least not classic.

Looks great though!

No denying that. Cougar20ths Eurorise/Punisher/Smear has my heart.

That marker is on the open class. As I said, my entry for the Classic poll was this one:

Smooth changed the pics by accident, I believe.

sethbar's may have an intelli, but I think its worth noting that its a first-gen intelli with the straight trigger guard.

i have to agree but i also believe we need a mid-class that isnt quite open but is border line old school. I really like the idea of themes on the MOTM contest. lets the contest get more focused on one thing instead of puttin all the pressure on smoothice for saying not only "this one makes it and this one dont" but also "this is old school, this one isnt." I say next month we have one catagory be "Warp/qloader Setup" the other could be something like "12gram Setup" I dont know it just adds some flare.

it is indeed a no-kink intelli with a very early pneu job by cyberave. has SS MM body with stock MM barrel (very old school for minimag). RTValve with a serial of VV00190. this thing screems old school to me but its got its new school influence.

We barely had enough entries for 2 classes this month...

Precidence (sp?) is already been set allowing oldschool guns to to have newer style trigger frames as long as the gun still retains its oldschool Vibe.

This precidence is set by the November 2007 Oldschool note.
Sntoters Classic RT with RPG Chimera.

I do agree (even tough my earlier post did say it should be original). I guess what I meant is what your saying here. I'm personally totally OK with the old skool intelli, but not a brand new vert frame on an RT... does that make sense to anyone? I guess if it's old school feel then it's objective and I can speak with my vote...

I totally feel you on that. Original intelliframes came out in 2000, a decade ago. I just can't see anything made in the last 5 years as classic.

precedence has been set for a long time. Thankfully even before I took over ;)

Just look back through the Winners thread.

Hell flyingpootang won old school with a ule body and a xvalve...

Many pumpmags have won with a jay8541 or rainman kit. Both newly produced. How old are gripstix frames? You'll see a few of those also.

This debate about what is 'old school', and what isn't, is always funny to me cause it's the exact same debate I read about all the time in hotrod forums and magazines. Same discussion, different hobby. :)
