Converting to an Emag

I've decided to convert my mech Tac One to an Emag and I have a few questions and things I need confirmed.

I'm going from a mechanical Tac One with a ULE trigger. Do I need to pick up an Emag-length On/Off Pin and replace the old pin in my RT On/Off, then replace the ULE with that?
If so, will there be any kind of bad things happening if I run it like that before acquiring Emag lowers?

Is it safe to run a long piece of macro line from the ASA straight to the valve? Or should I switch to steel-braided hose? I'm guessing it's safe, since I've seen it done a lot on here, but hey, you never know...

I'm guessing that I also need to pick up an Emag length rail, since I have one of the short new-style tac rails. What are my options as far as Emag-length rails?

That's all I can think of for now. If anybody has any suggestions for me, I'm all ears.

you will need the emag length on/off pin .712. and untill you get the emag lowers dont change you on/off the shorter emag pin wont work in a mech, set-up.

if your going to run over 900psi get steel-braided. under 900psi, macro will be fine.

as for the rail you have to uprade to anything that will hold an rt sear pin, RPG rails, emag, rt pro, and any others that require rt sears.

You will need a .712 pin in your RT on/off assembly as already suggested. You will also need an Emag length rail to cover up the power wire op top of the case. As far as the sear goes, it should come with whatever lowers you purchase (most of them do anyhow). If you get it all together and need any other help, let us know. That's why we are here :cheers:

All your wiring is incorporated in the grip itself and no on your last question. They only fully work with E-Mag sears. I've never tried using a regular RT sear in a Emag frame. Not sure if it'll work but if it does, your only option is Mech-Mode.

That funny looking arm with the nut on it connects to your plunger which drops/floats in your solenoid which actuates the bolt in E-Mode.

I did not see any mention of it in the post, but you will also need a quad o-ring along with the .712 on/off pin and rt on/off assembly.

yup, you will need a quad o-ring as well to reduce the friction on the o-ring and to have a better sealing surface for the pin :headbang:

By the way, what exactly do I do with this "quad O-ring" when I get it? I've been reading over manuals and checking out exploded diagrams to refresh, but I haven't seen anything involving the quad O-ring.
