Hey Guys.
I finally had some time over the Long weekend up here in Canada to finish this project.
I've taken the mechanics of a PneuMag and adapted it over to create my version of a Pneumatic cocker
Thanks to Mag79 for his kit: Mag79 Kit (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=248401)
and all the resources I found here.

I had a chance to test her out for the first time on the field Monday.
All I can say is "Wow!"
I was easily keeping up with the electros on the field.
The trigger pull is as light as the original Select Fire WGP E-frame. The Magnets aren't necessary but it gives it a nice quick return.

Spyder's Fasta 18v boasts 30bps but since it is not a true force feed loader I was easily outshooting it with one finger.
As a newbie to swing frames I'm could barely walk it with any rhythm.

Who could imagine? I need a Prophecy to keep up with a mechanical cocker.

I intentionally used a Mini Rock LPR which has a larger air chamber providing me the the extra air volume.

... Hmmm... what to do next? Maybe a Slider version? :P

That is the coolest use of a trilogy frame I have ever seen, lol. Lets see some video !!!

As asked over on MCB, what actuates the 4way?

There is a ram in the frame that looks to be run off of the msv-2, I think, lol.

Well there has to be 2 things in there, one for the sear and one for the 4way. I just don't know if/how you could set up one ram to do both.

This project can only be done (easily) with the WGP SF frame.

The SF frame is uniquely designed with a Non-traditional sear and X-way plate linkage. The sear and the x-way plates are linked together such way that when the Ram hits the assembly it drops the both the sear and activates the x-way plate at same time.

A stock pneumatic Ram lives inside the frame positioned vertically so that when the MSV pressurizes it, it Fires the piston upward.

Here is a picture of the Festo Noid separated from the Ram.
The body of the Ram is made of Aluminium and the bullet-shaped piston is made from delrin.

Unlike Clippards MPA3, the stock Ram is very simple; no return spring at all. It's just the body and the piston with a single O-ring. You end up needing less energy to move the piston. An very cleaver design.

Yeah.
The body kit is actually fine. Everything else needed to be replaced.

Worked out better then I had expected.
Thanks again Mag79

You added more pneumatics to a marker that uses pneumatics to operate....genious! That is pretty inventive. I wonder what other markers we could do this to.

Is anybody else wondering how easily the Ram could be moved to actuate a mag sear?

Take it to the next step.
For your Maggot Tinkerers who have been thinking about making a E-frame you can transfer the guts from a Trilly SF frame into your favorite Mag frame.
Voila! E-mag with ramping features and Eyes to boot.

I don't own a Mag but I'm pretty sure it can be done.

Working on Videos. Stay tuned.

As promised.
Here's a short video dry firing and with paint.

Eck!
I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to get used to a swing after 16 years playing with sliders.
Anyways here she is: :shooting:

After looking at this again I especially like the way you used the stock trilly t barb, and then ran the air through the front block and back down to the MSV-2. That is very cool IMO. The video is great, were you shooting all-star in the video?

Hey fishmishin,

Thanks
I was thinking that having Barbs on the front block would make it easier for disassembly & servicing.
The paint I was shooting was Draxxus ... bronze I think but very good quality for rec.

Yes. I was thinking about this too. Gutting the electronics from an Uprising frame should work too but I didn't have any experience with this frame. If I come across a busted frame I'll give it a go.

Some updates.

I had a chance to tinker so I gutted the grip frame to illustrate how the trigger mechanism works.
You can see how sear and the 3-way plate is linked together with a horizontal spring.
So when the mini Ram strikes the bottom of the 3-way plate it lowers the sear and rotates the 3-way plate simultaneously.

I've also added a QEV to the RAM so that it would cycle more efficiently.
Is there any other gun that uses 3 QEVS ? :P

I tried a bunch of configurations but the space is pretty tight.
It would have been cleaner if I had mounted it directly to the Ram but this would have breeched a whole bunch of tiny air passages.
I might try it with my next version.

Anyways here's what she looks like so far.
