...no, not that kind of hummer you dirty birdy!

Seriously though, GM has dropped the Hummer line and the Chinese company who was gonna buy it backed out, so "HUMMER" as a civilian vehicle is done.

With Hummer gone, and the Toyota Prius malfunctioning, I wonder what total d-bags are going to start driving? I'm guessing BMW is gonna start leasing a lot of sedans :p

BMW isn't nearly as douchey as the average mustang driver.

Or Lexus suv. Or explorer. Or cadillac suv... You get the drift.

Good riddance to a fugly body kit for the tahoe.

I'm not a Total D-bag and I drive a Hummer (both Military Side and Civilian Side)... I will keep driving my Hummer til the wheels fall off and it will be like my '04 AKA Viking... Not made anymore and a reliable piece of machinery...

Frizzle you might want to open mouth and insert foot before making broad statements because you never know who owns what and for what reasons...

You can ask anybody that has ever stepped foot on the PB Field with me I am a great guy and upstanding player,,, you can even ask DevilMan who I gave a lift to AO South '09 when we carpooled....

Anyway it's sad that some of us respectible Hummer drivers are losing out on a great vehicle and great support...

Word. I didn't mean to imply that all Hummer drivers were D-bags, more that a lot of D-bags drive Hummers.

The Chinese own MG now... I too am glad they won't be making civ Hummers.

Bro I wasn't mad at you and hope you didn't take it that way...

I am also glad that the Chinese deal fell through because I was catching all kinds of grief at work for driving a Chinese Knock Off and was getting tired of the jokes...

Anyway when I take my son or daughter to the Doctor it's on the side of town where Hummers are used as status indicators... I make sure before we go over there that I head out to the back 40 of the training area and give it a good coating of mud... I watch thier eyes as I park beside thier clean and prissy fru-fru Hummers and they think the mud is going to jump off mine and get thiers all dirty... I hate road queens,,, I bought mine because it's a 4 wheel drive and I use it as one... Well my rant is over...

Have you been on the road? D-bags drive every type of car, it's just you remember the ones in hummers because they're so big, and the ones in pruises have a weird looking car and are all self righteous because they own a car that is really heavy and doesn't get much better mileage than a civic.

Had I the means and lived out in the country, I'd totally spring for a real H1...

Even if you won't stand by your original statement, I'll stick with mine that most H2 drivers are indeed douchebags.

h1=diesel>h2,h3, escalade etc

I just don't understand why we try to copy Europe's health care system but not their love for diesel.

After extensive research, Chinese designers could not calculate the technological revamp of the Hummer interior required to raise the drivers seat high enough for them to see over the steering wheel. They also failed to lock the left turn signal permanently on.

:D

hey...........its a friggen joke.

You aren't joking that's really what happened. You just forgot the part about them also finding it impossible to cap the engine at 40 mph for the highway.

This Shooter guy...he rocks. :)

Anyway, yup...Hummer bit the dust. I would assume the military side will continue production? I wouldn't think they'd be missing out on those dollars...just axing the civilian side?

Believe it's different companies.

Yep. Still GM, but not really the same thing at all.

The original H1s were based on Humvees, but the H2 and H3 (and that goofy-but-cool HX thing that never went into production) were only similar in appearance for the most part.

A Tahoe with a body kit is not an HMMV. Nice spinners, yo.

The MXT knows what's up, it's got ps3 controllers, not 360 controllers.

Ha Ha, I am glad GM dropped the line. Maybe they can now be seen as the vehicle they were originally meant to be.

you can even ask DevilMan who I gave a lift to AO South '09 when we carpooled....
considering you probably have enough room for at least 5 more adults what kind of person would you have to be to turn down carpooling?

Not to rag on you really because my dream vehicle is still a UNIMOG. I just have no place to keep or truly use such a vehicle.
