as of Feb 1, 2010;

my van, "The Splattmobile" is dead.

rad hoses started going one by one and got replaced the same way.
the rad itself began leaking drastically;
then a gasget failed in the heater/water pump connection,
finnally the water pump gushed from the weep hole soaking the serpentine belt flinging coolant+leak-stop+anti-freeze+water all over the electrical system
the engine began to miss-fire then blew the ceramic out of one spark plug,
the cylinder had filled with oil and the motor Hydraulic-ed.

the compression is almost non-existent in the cylinder that blew out the spark plug so i'm pretty sure that there is a big hole in the piston.

so all present projects are on hold till i figure out how to get new wheels.

The Splattmobile is going to be put out to pasture;
it will be spending it's after life on the field at Operation Milsim.

my new wheels, 1998 Saturn LS.

Did the salesman tell you that pants are mandatory with a Saturn ?
Its against the rules to wear a kilt in a Saturn.
And besides it just clashes with the car anyways.

:rolleyes:

How often did you get pulled over with that beastie?

not even once.
there is nothing wrong or against any laws about it.

The only stipulation here in the stats is when you register the vehicle, you need to let them know the color. If you get pulled over and your camo ride is still saying it's blue on you title, you’re going to get a ticket.

Not sure if that's a MD thing or a nation wide thing.

Considering that pretty much all of Canada welcome their war losses home via a huge public parade and rally, I'm going to disagree with you on that.

My condolences for your loss. However, I will tell you that the Saturn will treat you well.

I had a 2001 Saturn SC1 and rode it well over 250,000Km with zero repairs other than regular maintenance.

Then everything gave up at the same time :rofl:

I live near Trenton and to see the the people lining the route to salute our fallen is incredible.
