Looks like at least two companies have bought into the "50cal" hype (Spyder and Actionvillage.com) :tard:

spyder likes 50 cal cause they can sell it in japan where joules limits means that 68 has to be fired at excessively low velocity.

A big "whatever". If we ignore it, it will go away. Seriously :D

That's coming from a guy who owns several .62cal, .55cal and .50cal markers. I even used to have a .70cal BE gun.

.50cal what a joke. The bolts and barrels on the 50cal guns look so crazy. A true Pea Shooter.

I dont know what is happening to standard .68cal paint but maybe they all are trying to sneak in the small balls on us.

I was playing this weekend and the RPS nightmare paint was matched to slightly smaller than my Lurker Eigen Barrell which is .679! Looks like tiny balls are here.

I always thought a .70 cal Brass Eagle gun/marker was a standard Brass Eagle gun/marker with their standard amount of quality control. . .

I recieved the same e-mail aswell, after I read it I clicked unsubscribe. I'm not going to waste money on .50 cal gear, haha.

reading the subject alone was enough for me to delete it. I have a feeling GI milsim is the real driving force behind the "50 cal revolution"

and we all know who GI Milsim is I hope, certainly not something I'll ever support.

Though I have to admit to a soft spot for spyders. The Fenix was my first marker... and first extensive modding project.

Some Spyders were great. I've owned an AMG, a 2000, an LE, an Elite and a Targa. All were exceptional, and all were made.... A long time ago.

Hahaha...my very first paintball gun was the Brass Eagle Raptor...then it broke my first time out....then I got an original Spyder Compact and played with it for a couple years before I got my Minimag. Then I sold my Spyder.

I still have my spyder from 5 years ago, it looks very different now, but i still love that thing. My RT's broken down more than my spyder, that's the toughest gun i've ever played with, and it cost me 60 bucks.
