Ok, so after a few weeks, just got her back. And got some pics of the family all together.

STATS:
Dallara body and rail
Chimera frame
15* asa
RPG grip
CP mini direct asa
CCM no pro feedneck
splinter trigger
Freak barrel with WWA tip
BLUE X Valve!!!

Dust Pewter Anno was done by the same company that does CCM's anno. Best quality aftermarket dust anno I have ever seen. Not a single flaw!!! :headbang:

Thank you!! The xmag I bought like that. Not exactly what I would have chosen, but It's grown on me. The Dallara is my baby. That Pewter is EXACTLY the color I was going for. :hail: :hail: to the anno guy!! It even has a littl bluish hint in it. PIcs never do it justice!!!

Are those the only markers that you have or do you have more yummy ones hidden somewhere?

Nothing really yummy. A few loaner sypders and two brass pumps. That's about it.

Awesome collection. Throw a stock class phantom in there and it would pretty much be all I'd ever need.

Thanks everyone for the props. The thing that I like most about the anno is the texture. It is not like a normal dust anno. It actually feels like DUST!! The texture and quality is top notch, and was very reasonably priced. But Dust and Solid color is the only anno that the guy does, unless you send it to him polished out, then he will anno it like that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to get their marker reannoed!!

niiiiiiiice, do they have a website? i kind of want to do this to the rt i just picked up so the parts match more instead of having some dust, some polished, some different colored cause no stock on the others.

too i take it when you say the texture it's like the ccm feedneck's feel? (have the same one myself)

Chico Metal (http://www.chicometalfinishing.com/)

I dealt with Jim Sr. Really nice guy. I just called him and emailed him a pic of the color I wanted. Texture is like the feedneck!

A Teflon top coat can be applied to your anodized product to increase its lubricity substantially. This coating has no color and almost no dimensional increase. The coating can be applied overall by immersion or selectively by brush or cloth.

hmmm wonder how durable that is?

I haven't put the Cheater and Rock in yet. I have it running mech right now. I think the cheater is going to require a little tuning, but wanted to get it up and running right away. I will get more pics when the internals are up and running!!

Thanks

not sure if they put a top coat on. It seems pretty durable. The anno on my T2 is the same way. It gets scuffed here and there, but then with a little water and microfiber clothe, with wipes right off. Haven't had any problems with durability yet, knock on wood!!

just emailed them about getting some stuff done... we'll see what happens or if i follow through.

quick question though, where'd you get your polished parts done since they don't do that?

I'm guessing the polished parts (blue parts) were purchased that color and finish and not sent out for anno at all.

StayHuge... I have a T2 with with a .45 frame instead of the 86 or whatever it is... How do you like it?

Ever shoot a T2 with the .45 frame? Can you compare?

Thanks

That's mine on the bottom!

Wow, a bit of action on this thread!! haha

Seth: Smoothice is correct. The Valve, trigger, asa, feedneck ring, and detents were all the original colors. Only the Dust Pewter is what was annoed.

Also, you may want to call them. I spoke to the guy over the phone for about 20 mins explaining what I wanted done and the parts that I was sending them. I asked that they mask off the threads on the freak tip also(I had a problem in the past with threads like that.)

Deuce: I have never tried the 45 frame on a T2. So I can't really compare. I had an s6 at one time, but that had a 86* frame too. I would ask over on MCBrown in the CCM section. They will gladly give you comparisons. Wish I could have helped you out onthat.

One thing I will say thought is that I didn't like the 86* at first. It was too narrow and a little bit of a pain to hold. However, I switched out the grips to the ones that are on there in the pic, and I llove the feel. As you can tell from the pics, I am more of a 90* frame guy. It just feels more natural to me for paintball.

Looks really nice! I also have a mag at Chico atm. Super great company with excellent customer service with helpful employee's! Will post pics up when I get it back. I sent in my ccm drop from my T2 to get them to match my Lime green T2. Can't wait to get the stuff back and put her back together.

stay... i might have to, i emailed again some other things for clarification. they seemed to follow what i was looking for pretty well. they said polished finish can be retained so i asked if that's what they did with one of their gallery images so i'll know something more when i hear back. i also asked if they think a change might be noticeable going from two different colored items going to a single shade of blue. also the other thing i have to figure out is if the tip on a barrel kit that's raw will end up strange when the rest is polished. we'll see what they say though, i'm in no rush and i've looked up a guy on pbnation that actually does powder coating instead of anno... so i sent him an email asking him some questions. i generally am not a fan of pc but we'll see what he says.

behemoth: It was all Gloss Black. Except for the asa, that was Gloss Blue

Fatalis: I like the lime green and Dust black combo. Very nice. I must say that I have not really seen a T2 color combo that I didn't like

Seth: I would be cautious about reannoing gloss. If you call, speak with Jim Sr. He is who Mel from CCM works with. I also heard that Jim Jr. is good too, but I only dealt with SR. He explained all of my options and gave his input. Personally, I that their dust anno is much better than any powder coating out there. Also, more durable. Good Luck
