First, that is indeed tha bomb.

Second, it's even cooler because it's got the splash cast aluminum single trigger frame. For some reason, alot of people say you can't ano these even thogh it's obviously been done before. Makes me want to get one of those old frames.

Cool catch!

Nice, my fav color scheme for those splash kits:D I had a most of the set except the trigger frame:(
You gonna try to find a matching barrel as well?

I've bought it already. And a matching double trigger as well, which I intend to cut, making it a single trigger so I don't ruin the frame. They are both in the mail on their way to me.

If work ever sends me to our plant in Itapira, I'm soo stopping by to play with you in Sao Paulo.

Or at least to oggle your collection in person.

It's a beauty! :D
I know you're keeping it 'classic' but even a chrome ULE would look great on it

will this be your next MOTM entry? ;)

Thanks! VF-XX, just let me know.

TwilightG, it can be. Depends on the other entries and also on the mentioned barrel.

In the other hand, I've been a little disapointed with the MOTM contest in the past, since I've lost it in the final minutes for a 3 vote margin for two or three times already. Almost like biding on eBay, you know? When you think it's yours, some crazy people come and take it away from you...

That's a nice classic with splash kit. Make sure you get some shots of it when you get the barrel on there.

Are you sure that's an AGD frame? IIRC the AGD metal frames weren't pure aluminum (zinc maybe?), and didn't have bottomline mounts.

Nice mag though!

That's my favorite splash color as well...here's an old picture of mine from May 2007...

Since then I've completed the kit with a black barrel and anno front, powerfeed plug and gas through stock. I really need to take an updated picture.

I remember this one! I really liked that tank cover when I saw it. My original idea was to assemble mine with a black body, just like you did but I'd like to have Minimag body instead of a regular Mag or eMag.

If you can find a black Minimag body, it would look nice with a silver backed / splashed front barrel like the one on mine in that picture. The contrast of the silver through the Minimag shroud holes would look nice in my opinion.

Just so you know, I made that barrel from two other barrels. I think the splash front originally came on a 'Cocker barrel, and the the back came from a totally silver barrel. Both were Smart Parts All American barrels. They're glued together and can come apart with a torch. It's some kind of marine epoxy...and it will stink up the house for a couple of days.

I've done it too with one of my Banzai Green splash guns:

It was an All American 16" originaly. I had it cut and then re-threaded for a Freak front. Came out really nice!
