After months of tracking down parts and a few weeks of assembly I just finished my new Egomag! Everything came together perfectly and I couldn't be happier with it. It has the best of both worlds: Automag reliability and smoothness coupled with electro speed. It keeps up with the newest guns out there.

The best part is that I bought an extra rail and sear assembly so that if the electronics ever go down for some reason, I can simply throw on the extra rail with my Inteliframe and Im good to go.

A special thanks goes to Rouge for going out of his way to get me a Shadow Rail!

Parts Used:
-X valve
-ULT Trigger pull kit (5 shims)
-Stock Etek 2 Trigger frame
-Stock Etek 2 Board
-DP RAPS ASA

-Luke's Piston
-Palmers Pursuit 10-32 UEF to 1/16 ID tube Low Profile Elbow
-SMC S070C-SDG-32 Solenoid
-WGP OutKast LPR
-RPG Shadow Rail

I had to mill a little bit off of the bottom shelf directly below the battery to make room for the supply air line as seen here:

Well done!

The stuffing in the grip is the hard part isn't it?

Cool! Good luck on your build! :headbang:

Thanks Spider! Yes, the grips are a little hard to close so that they dont pinch the air line but its manageable. But changing the battery is quite the operation lol

Nice mod, I want one now!!! The way my Ego eats batteries when it's sitting in the gear bag is criminal. I hope you get good at changing it.. Also get a longer macro line so it's not in the way of your fingers.

I guess since I'm not trading my Pneumag I'll get started. I won't be using my Pneumag though.

Thanks! Yea the batteries seem to just evaporate when theyre just sitting in there. It gets expensive.

Lol you just called my next move: Ive been searching for a longer macroline in all my local stores but none seem to have them... i guess ill just have to order it offline.

Sweet. Be sure to take pics of your progress along the way: its cool to look back at them. BTW the best place for the pneumatic parts is www.airsoldier.com. They've got everything you'll need.

Plus it took me forever to find a connector to solder to the solenoid but I finally found one here: http://www.akalmp.com/kits.html Its the two-pin connector labeled "CON-2-PIN/LEADS" on that page. I'm pretty sure that one will fit any ego board but I'm not completely sure. Can anyone else confirm that?

Thanks! I wanted to go for the sleeper look so its pretty plain. But I liked the black on black so thats what i went with. Im actually about to order some black macroline fittings, and some black grip screws to finish it off.

Yeah I know all about air soldier. I'll be going there first. I don't know when I'll be able to start though...
