Etched on the top of my minimag valve is "C/F" and "Center Fire Mag" Followed by a number. Does this make it as special as it looks? I can't say I've ever seen that marking before. Any clarification of where it came from? Is it an AGD thing? Here's a pic of what the heck I'm talking about:

Wow, I've never seen that before. That SN is very old too. Maybe it was a protto vert feed? Where did you get it? Thats cool man, i would hang onto it.

Just got it brand new last week. In my sig is the actual MM serial #... but this one's on there too.

That is a centerifire minimag made by diggers, so it has their serial # on it nor AGD's. The gun is not very old and this is just something so that people can identify the marker as a digger's gun instead of an AGD one.

So there's probably less than 500 made maybe?

Umm, because it's more comfortable that way for me. Looks funny, but it balances out just fine.

We have one of the center fire minimags in our shop. Very rare gun. The sn # is 245. I believe only 350 were made, could be wrong. We are asking $399.99 so if anyone is interested, give me an e mail.

Sweet 350? Does anyone know this for sure? It'd be cool to know exactly how many were made.

Sorry Gents, but Trader J's also made some vert feed minimags, these are about three years old and the production numbers were somewhere around 500, I bought one, and I swapped the body to JimmyJoBob along with my JJ Ceramic 14" barrel. They are nice mags, not a lot of blowback, but seeing as how only SP and J&J make barrels SPECIFICALLY for the marker, it made more sense to go maintstream and get a Powerfeed setup. They are a harder than normal mag to obtain, but not really rare.

a) yes its definitely a digger valve. no different

b) CP, CP, BOA all make centerfed barrels. not always listed . may have to ask but they are available.

why dont you guys use foregrips?!

With animals setup you don't even need a foregrip... you kind of rest the tank on your wrist... without a picture it's kind of hard to explain, however one of the most "feels right" positions i've ever held a marker in

According to John at Diggers, a few years back when they were showing the Centerfire 'mags, they were made by AGD to be distributed by Diggers.

See you on the field,

Buckwheat:

You get yours on ebay?

liigod:

When you hold it like law said, you only need to steady it with the left hand rather than hold it. I actually grip the front of the rail and the trigger guard to do so. If I feel ambitious I can take a pic of how I hold it. I have a nice long drop for it, but it really does feel/balance better how it is setup there.

btw, anyone know the email addy for the agd office? Or is it the obvious answer (office@airgun.com)??

Bought mine at the local shop for $300.00. He said it was on a sale flyer he got from his supplier. He called me before he ordered it and I was kind of wondering why it was so cheap. I had never even seen a Mag before I got this one, but I love it.

wow after reading this post i switched my drop forward around backwards and i like it better. just my opinion but it feels way more evenly balanced. works well for me if i use the foregrip or the tank as a grip. thanks for the idea.
