so guys i have a PTP micromag on its way to me. the body is center feed, drilled for eyes(not done by the guy who is sending it to me, but someone before him) in a purple ano. I am thinking of doing one of two builds with this thing, but cant make up my mind, so here are the builds i am thinking. What do you guys think would be better.

1. Egomag, you guys seen and know what these look like. would have etekframe, PTP battery pack w/lukes bottom ASA adapter. because its drilled it might have eyes.

2. this would be with a PTP emag frame, the frame is currently done in a jungle nights ano. would do the battery pack w/lukes bottom. this might be straight pnuemag or maybe EPmag with eyes. so what do you guys think would look sick on this?

oh and also i am sure this been asked before, but is the PTP micromag feedneck pressed in or threaded feed neck? I might replace it, is why i am asking.

thanks all.

Pretty sure it is angel threaded, this has been discussed in the order thread if you surf back a few pages.

I thought they were pressed. If it is, Altec over on BEO has the means to pull them. ;)

That's on the new 2009 ptp body. I don't think its the same for the older style micromag with center feed. I think they are pressed. Did I search but coukd not find anything.

I guess you'll find out in a few days. If you decide to pull it (I would advise not to) make sure you get all your ducks in a row before you do it. There's nothing like getting it pulled and not knowing anyone to do the threading

You'll be stuck with a useless body.

EDIT:
You could also get set screws installed but again find someone that knows how to do it. I've seen some of BE's work. You could ask him if he's willing to give it a try. Might be able to pull the neck too.

I just purchased a vert micromag 2000. The feedneck on my micro was pressed in but I have seen some on the net that were treaded. If you don't mind having the neck milled down and having a ego neck put in. Luke can do it for you. He did mine and did amazing job. I also had him strip the paint off getting it ready for anno or duracoat. But I'm in the same boat you are. I can't decide on going pneu'd or spydermag w/ a rocking trigger.
Here's pic's:
