Remove the field strip screw at rear, turn and slide out the valve, remove the screw by the trigger. The body will come right off then.

Are you referring to the twist lock assembly? The part that sticks up through the rail for the twist lock barrels? If so, the just take off the body, asa, frame, etc so you have just the rail and twist lock assembly. Turn the rail upside down and put a piece of wood on top of the assembly. Hit the wood with a mallet or a hammer. Truthfully though, I've just hit the assembly with a hammer a couple times. It can warp the assembly if you're not careful, but I've never really had a problem with it.

PRESS it out or you risk bending the rail.
