Looking for something that'll eat aluminum. I broke a tap in something and need to get it out. Drilling is out of the question, I already tried a tap extractor broke the tabs off so it's in there tight and no way it's coming out unless i eat away some of the metal.

I already looked around and couldn't find anything at the local brick and mortar stores.

It is very important to use the right size pilot hole when tapping holes. It is also important to use a lubricant. Go slow... back and forth until you get to where you need to be. Even the best taps sometimes snap... ;)

Agree with above... "Tap Magic" works well with all metals for a tapping fluid.
Drilling out the tap with a carbide drill may also get it out.
