I've noticed lately that the advertisement banner ads on the top of the pages sit on top of the pull down menus so you can't read them. This makes it nearly impossible to access the search feature and the quick links feature since the spot to click on is behind the ad banner. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe there is some setting that can be changed, but its really annoying.

Click out to the main forum page and use the search feature. Clicke on Advanced Saarch and you will be given more options to search within a certain sub forum. Yeah it's a pain, but not that big of deal once you get used to it.

Used to piss me off, but I switched to a slightly older Firefox beta and now I don't get them :D

Yeah, been running ad block plus for years now. In 4b1 it was iffy, but cleared up in b2 :) hooray

I use internet explorer right now, are you saying this isn't a problem in other browsers?

Not in the 3 versions of Firefox I use regularly, but yes in the newest version. It is a problem for Safari, and I've encountered it with I.E. and Safari, though I'm not entirely sure which versions of those I was using.

Chrome does not have this problem.

Also, most ad blocker add ins will help as well.

Chrome for mac definitely has this problem. I wonder what the version level on this forum system is...it might be time for an upgrade.

Well, it's not my fault you're using a cranky machine. ;p

Running Chrome on an intel Mac with AdBlock, no ads here.

Edit: Disabled AdBlock and still can't replicate OPs problem.
