Hey guys! I'm just about install my ULE body, but I need to remove this brass pin before I can correctly seat it. I see in some videos that it should just pop out. I've tried using a soft mallet a few times, but it won't budge.

Any ideas? I don't want to beat the complete hell out of it or it'll deform and won't come out at all.

Thanks!

Jake

Best way to do it is with a press or a bench vice (use it like a press). Hammer will work too but a rubber type will be best. From the looks of it you've already beat the hell out of it and more then likely will need a file to un-mushroom it.

Put it in a vice, and put a long (1/4 drive) socket in front. It will push right out.
