Showing off - Grip pr0n inside

Just finished up some commissions and whatnot on the bench last night.

First up are some not quite plain jane medallion grips.

That's the British coat of arms in there.


Next are some fun ones. I call them "Goldschlager" grips.

The gold leaf is actually layered, so it looks all floaty.

That's sea snail shell. It's a bit more rainbow-y in person. They look stunning.

All in all it was a good night. About 3 hours of uninterrupted finish work.

That is truly one of the most beautiful things I have seen on a paintball gun.

PM me a price for that same design for an 86* ccm frame and a price for a set of emag grips.

Not sure I can afford it but those would be so sweet!!!!

My other obsession is surfing. So that design is on many things including cars, bike's, surfboards, and paintings around our house...

Robert, I've been following much of your grip-work on MCB and I must say I'm quite impressed :D

Have you considered making panels for 90* frames? (since they're popular in the Mag crowd)
approximately how thick are your panels? can they be made thinner?

I do most of my work out of the members section of MCarterBrown.com. I may start taking commissions over here too if there is enough interest.

The grips run about a centemeter and a half at the thickest part. They're comfortable to my grip, and I've often been accused of having "girl hands", so they're not really bulky feeling by any stretch.

I've been exploring e-mag and angel-vert versions of my grips, but it's really tough to get an edge located screw hole to work. The material is tough, but trying to put a screw in a thin edged has been asking for trouble to date. Until I figure out a way that I can guarantee that they absolutely won't break under normal use, I'm not offering them. I am actively working ideas though.
