Ladies and Gentlemen. Boys and Girls. Mark your calendars. Tell your significant others. Cause its time again for our Annual Charity Eventl!!!

Our first year we had an impressive 50 people show up & we raised a little over $800 for charity. Our second year had slightly fewer players but we were still able to raise $857 for the charity. Not bad for a player sponsored and put together event.

-Entry will go direct to camp Pendelton. This way you can pay with cash or credit card. Afterward they give me my cut for the charity.

-Everything else will be cash. Raffle, posters (maybe), and events. I have a few ideas for some contests. Pistol challenge again and maybe the William Tell challenge.

-We will also do paypal if someone wants a poster or something but can't attend the event.

If you're coming in from SBDO traffic has never really been an issue, a bit of a slow down when the 15 and 215 meet up, the most monotonous part of the drive is taking the 76 which at some point becomes a single lane highway with stop lights. If you come in early enough there will be fog after you pass temecula. Aim to come in early but count on coming home late as traffic going back to the inland empire from Pendleton when this event is finished is usually around the weekend rush hour.

Sorry for the location change guys. When I had originally spoke with camp pendleton I was under the impression we would get the same deal. But when confirming our numbers I realized the difference. :cry:

By staying at camp p the charitable donation would have been almost cut in half. I hope everyone can still make it. Please post up if you are unable to attend.

The fields site does not say anything about their rules for HPA tanks, i.e. The five year hydro tank needs to have more than two years to go on it, etc.

Since I know there are a few folks that work at the field on this board and just to avoid issues, can someone clarify what are this field's rules for HPA tanks?

Someone should call to insure that there 4500 fill is working and that it will work the day of the event. I hate traveling long distances for 3000 lb fills. This has been happening to me allot lately. My last three trips were to fields that advertised 4500 and were barley 3000. :mad:

You need someone to come out there and show you how to do it. A tank is easy. You want an AGD 4500 Flatline or a Center Flag DynaFlow? Or maybe a screw in Ninga or GA? Or I could FedEx just a tank and you can use your reg. ;) Now just BORROW the wifes car and drive to the event. :tard: :cheers:

Well I finally found someone to cover my shift and will be able to attend. However I am having smog issues with my truck and it wont be reregisteed by this weekend. Anyone passing near Santa Barbara and want to car pool? I can probably get to LA (long beach area) for a meeting spot. I missed last year and I am not going to miss this one. If i can find a friend to come ill convince them to drive but noone is stepping up yet. See you all soon!

What an amazing day! Thank you everyone that participated.

We had an unbelievable 64 people come out and play.

We had started our first game by 10:00am :wow:

And so far we have raised $1,200 for the charity.

AOsocal took care of business, along with help from Mcarterbrown members, PBnation, Bigevilonline, PBlegion, my Zombie Unicorn Attack! Teamates, IE paintball park,, the paintballshop, apx, and everyone who showed up, played ball, ate bbq and had a great day

So many of our friends showed up, people we haven't seen in quite some time, we made new friends and from what I hear everyone had a great time, andthe field was getting calls from players after the game that told them how great the event was so, I'm pretty sure IE paintball will be our new home for our charity event

I looked at all the video I shot and between the focal length of the camera and my challenged user abilities I have 2-3 hours of video and lots of the sky/ground. maybe 2-3 minutes of good footage. It'll be a bit before I can edit down what I have. I'll post it up bubt it'll be a while.
