So doing some craigslist searching found this guys selling a whole automag for $75. With this x-valve and the original valve. It also had three barrels and a benchmark single frame.

Sing he was like a 4 hour drive from me (thats a lot of$$ in gas too) I offered him $35 shipped for the x-valve and he can keep and sell the rest. Well I got it today!! Only think missing was carriers and shims.

$35 x-valve in decent shape. All the marks in the anno I can find are from crude not being cleaned off. the springs are like new and the bolt has very little signs of wear. This thing hasn't been used in a while. Apparently he hasn't played in a long time and thought this stuff was old and outdated.

I tore it down a bit and oiled the hell out of it (the on/off, lvl10 carrier, removed the back). the on/off pin stayed in the valve thought when I removed on/off, maybe its stuck??. everything seems OK. I aired it up and it shot twice immediately, without touching the trigger. Then it seemed to shoot fine for a few shots and then stopped shooting altogether. There was still pressure against the trigger, but nothing would happen when you pulled the trigger... at all, no leaking down the barrel or anything. Then I degassed it and the valve stayed air up!!! no tank! So I had to pull the valve out even though it was still gassed up. I removed the field strip screw and the valve was stuck (probably on the on/off pin?) and I pull the trigger and it sort of released the valve and fired at the same time, but it dodnt fire until the valve started to slide out the back.

So I thought maybe the not firing had something to do with the spring not resetting the bolt since I put shortest one on. So I put the longest one on with no difference. Except this time it started to leak slightly out that small hole on the left side.

Any Ideas? I have a general concept of how these work, but not good at this kind of trouble shooting.

**(ADD)** Also heres the add and I can send anyone the pics of the rest of the mag if they want (he want $50 for the rest of the mag stuff and shipped to me fine, seems legit)

You need to get a Gold spring. Start with that...

Are those the shortest ones? like with lvl7's. I have tuned the lvl10 on my other x-valve.

The first spring I used was one of the gold ones I believe (there isnt one pictured, Its shorter then the two in that pic in the x-valve package). I have like 5 of the gold ones and another red one and another one of the long ones with my other x-valve. Either way when I get the chance I am just gonna send it to you to rebuild it anyway, along with my other x-valve.
