will nitro tanks make a pinging noise like co2 tanks?...by the way i have a steel tank

Mine does. I have a Pure Energy 47 CI 3000 PSI. I think most tank even fiber wrapped do because the inside of a fiber wrapped is still steel. Why?

Fiber wrapped tanks don't have steel on the inside.

I think the fiber is wrapped around aluminum.

i was just wondering if i should get a cover for my steel tank to minimize the ping noise

you will get a ping on all tanks but much less on fiberwrapped it has to do with the gun to my m98 I used along time back had it bad with CO2 tanks but I used a peice of ruber band between the gun and ASA

P.S. yes it is aluminum under that fiber wrap
