Thanks

These take a bit more work than a RT/E-mag length. You have to move the frame back about a 1/8", and shave the front of the frame so the for grip fits into it a bit. As well as moving the Foregrip all the way forward on the rail.

I like the SCM, haven't seen one on a mag before. And the fittings are awesome. If they weren't so darn expensive, I'd replace all of mine with them.

The CCM macro fittings add a nice touch :D

Yeah that's why I'm sticking with Ninja black fittings too. The CCM look nice though.

And hill, that poor tree of yours! That's the same tree that took the biggest portion of the minigun test, isn't it? The Arbor Day Foundation will be calling....

you read my mind!!!!1!!! that's exactly what i was thinking of doing with my mech mag, i noticed your pneu'ed etek frames up for sale...

except i was thinking of trying to hide the LPR inside the front grip, like a hollow aluminum foregrip

Thats possible but you would have to use a LPR that is not recommended for this noid to find one small enough to fit up in a for-grip. There was One like you suggest for sale here recently. They look really nice though. I went with the SCM LPR due to its matching the rest of the markers shape.

i did a mock-up with a spare Etek 1 grip frame, and a bunch of fittings i had lying around.

The foregrip was assembled using Armson / Pro Team / Pro Line Products " Pro Span " vertical expansion chamber.

I added a Lapco vertical ASA adapter which was pre-drilled for two 1/8" NPT tapped holes.

So i pulled out the only LPR i had in my Cocker parts box, a huge ass Sledgehammer Reg, grabbed a couple brass 90 degree fittings, and some banged up macro fittings.

Voila! All i need is a little milling work where the red line is, so that the projected green LPR hose can pass through.

Whaddaya think of the ghetto pneu mag mod ? not as sleek as hill's front-mounted LPR i must admit

No worries... just clamp it solid and go slow... a simple round file would work as well, but I know the chainsaw ones actually work and are pretty quick as well since they are used for cutting much harder metal. Don't go too deep and measure it now and then because if you go the full width of the file, me thinks it's be a bit larger than what would look good. But your call.

Looking good. These are harder to make fit but a bit of dremmal work and they bolt right up.

What kind of barrel is that? I don't know why but i've always dug constant OD barrels.

I'll have to see if i can pick one up. It may look bad though with my Borg or Karni, but those are the only cocker threaded markers i have.
