I finally got my Micro e-Mag 2009 and it looks amazing!

What do you guys think?

And that's my other "new" Micromag:

I gotta say this is the best ano job I've ever seen, by far!

Then I also got my VER frame, which I mounted on my Chord V1 body, Dallara rail, RPG 15* ASA and front grip, DW rail and on/off and a Dye UL barrel:

And, finally, another dream fulfilled, although not a Mag:

It's an Apex Elite from 1989.

Mendel, how do you determine when you have enough markers ?

Mrs. Mendel is going to end up calling the "too many paintball guns" help line on you.

LOL. I think I'm at 70 already, with 30 or so being Mags. I can't say when I'll stop but I'm getting there. What happens is that, since last year, when I got unemployed, I absolutelly stoped buying new markers and even sold a few of them. Now that I got a new job, I bought the green Micro and the Apex Elite and, in truth, I didn't spend that much on them as I got a good deal. Anyways, my "wanted list" is also very close to it's end and I shouldn't buy much more from now on.

Luckily, Mrs Mendel (Fernanda) understands my passion for these things and she can see my eyes shine every time I get something special in my hands. I can only hope this keeps like it.

All I kept staring at were the rusty screws on the MM2K9... For God's sake man, oil those screws up or get some new ones.

Nice additions though. I was torn about putting the VER on my MM2K9 or Dallara body. Might be switching it.

If you ever wanna sell the green EP Airwalk frame PM me.

That one is too special for me so if I ever decide selling it, it'll probably be the last one of them all. You did too much of a great job there LOL

Now, on a side note, do you remember that last project you did for me? I'm talking about the electro UMF you assembled with the same internals as in the VER frame, back in 2008. Do you think it would be possible to convert it onto a regular mech pneu frame? I'm still having a hard time with the grips for it.

Thanks,

Mendel.

I like the older micromag bodies more, I think. The green one is great. Not a fan of the gas through grip set up, but the rest stands out great. Love the chord body. I passed up the cheapest I have ever seen a while back and have been kicking myself ever since.

What does a micromag go for these days? It is on my "to own" list.

Thanks. I'm not such a fan of the gas through the previous owner did as well but it's actually not that bad when seen in person. It would be better if it were original anyways.

A Micromag price varies according to the ano scheme and the options (valve type, front ASA or gas through, barrel, grip frame etc). I've seen them range between $200 and $450 for mechs and up to US$ 700 for e-Micros. I bought this one along with the Apex Elite for US$ 300 shipped but it had a Micromag valve with an ANS back part without matching numbers and, as you can see, the ASA nor the front grip are matching ano. It was still a very good deal as I've been looking for both markers for over 3 years when I got them. This ano scheme is a little bit hard to find, even though there was a matching one for sale here on the forum not too long ago.
