We will be playing Saturday August 6th @ Topgun paintball in Cream Ridge NJ. www.Topgunpaintball.com

Sunday, August 7th will be the annual Topgun "Alamo" big game. I (General Santa Evil) will be leading the Mexican attack against the gringo American defenders, let by Johnny Postorvino of Kee. Play TB5 on Saturday, then help me secure green cards and free health care for my mexicans on Sunday all for one price!

Addmission covers BOTH TB5 and the Alamo big game. That is TWO days of play for the price of ONE.

Weekend Itinerary
-Friday August 5th approx 12:30pm: Meet & Greet @ Topgun. Register, get paint and air, chrono guns, hang out and shoot the breeze.

-Saturday August 6th: 8am: Tunaball 5 The earlier we hit the fields the more games we get in. We stay until they kick us out.

7pm - Post TB5 party. location TBD

-Sunday August 7th: 8am: Mexican and Texan forces assemble at the Rio Grande in preparation for battle.

Lodging info for Tunaball V
For those who are coming in from far away and unfamiliar with the area, there are quite a few hotels within a half hours drive from TopGun. Most of them are just off the NJ Turnpike
(exit 8). Exit 7a is the exit for TopGun.

We are staying at

DAYS INN EAST WINDSOR 609-448-3200

last year the rooms were $99/night for either a one queen bed or two full size. That was with the Topgun discout. I am working with them again to secure the same pricing, but rates may have gone up. Stay tuned.

This hotel is RIGHT off of the NJ Turnpike (I95) at Exit 8.

If the Days Inn gets booked up, the Holiday Inn East Windsor is directly across the street from it.

This year instead, I want to do a "Most Awesome Mag" contest at TB5. I will find 3 judges (Tuna being one) and spring for a couple of trophies. We will hold the contest at the end of the day on Saturday before we pack up for the night.

Since so many people come in from out of town, we all meet up at Topgun on Friday afternoon. We hang out, get a lot of the BSing out of the way, and whatever else we can that would interfere with game time on Saturday.

As far as finding us, we are kinda hard to miss. However, all you need to do is ask any ref or staff member there and they would point you in the right direction.

Im usually there Friday at noon, and Saturday and Sunday EARLY. Like 7-8ish.

As is the norm for an AO day, the after action report.

It was HOT. Like, oh good lord hot. And humid. But this is the AO day that I remember we used to have all around the country. Lots of good fun, fast guns, and no drama/stupidity that comes along with a day of paintball play.

Met some great new people, and some familiar faces. Big thanks to BigEvil for hosting us on Friday night, as well as organizing the whole event.

I can't wait til next year. :headbang:

Now with Rudz and Loguzzzzzz headed back to the more agreeable west cost weather I can finally sit down and post something other than "really?"

Where to begin.. TB5 weekend started early for me on Wed night when Lornecash arrived., and it seemed like it flew by at lightspeed.

I guess I can start by safely saying that God loves Tunaball.. because just like the last two years, the weather was crappy right before and right after...and just peachy for game time. :D

I also want to make a little confession.. this whole Tunaball thing was contrived to get all of my friends in one place at the same time :D Thanks to everyone who made the (sometimes long) trek to come out and hang with the Family this weekend.

Saturday was awesome... we ended up with 75 players + the assorted pitt-crew staff and hangers-ons. Lot's of back-n-forth games throughout the day topped off by some awesome grub at Tommy's Inn.

Congratulations to Twilight and Rudz who won 1st & 2nd place in the Most Awesome mag contest - and a special thanks to Manike, Mike Quinn and Tuna for judging. The competition was stiff,.. just ask Manike..

There are lots of props to go around... props to Pillage for dragging all of that incredible pulled pork up from VA and keeping our bellies happy... props to the guys who helped put up and break down "Tunatown"...props to Chplnstone for the humongous carnival tent ... thanks to Mike Quinn for the MQ help.. and to Manike for letting us all get to fondle those awesome Xmags of his.

oh.. and thanks to Master-Tuna for keeping all of us maggots well fed with parts and up and running. The guy is only happy when he is tearing apart and putting back together mags.

.... more later.. still recovering..... but the BEO-Mafia rebounded from a dismal start Sunday to take the Alamo! :headbang:
