Yes. I've had them come off too, couldn't tell the difference.

Superglue works. An epoxy glue works better. Make sure you clean the surface really well.

As mentioned, it won't really be noticed on a level 10 because of the way it works.

And I've had double ball feeding problems without the foamy.
Gotta have one.

Foamy vs No Foamy depends on the climate you are playing in. Here in the North East, its either cold and damp or hot and humid. Ive noticed a bad difference with no foamy. A lot of places can get away with out one.

the foamy also prevents the ball from rolling back into the recess of the bolt. not too sure if this could cause any double-feeding or chopping issues

With small paintballs and a force fed hopper, you run the risk of a ball rolling back into the face of the bolt and allowing the next one in the stack to sit low in the breach. If you have a really light setting on your level 10 setup, it could chuff or cause inconsistencies.

Basically take a flat screwdriver tip and scrape off any residue on the tip of the bolt.

The best glue is a quick-drying glue such as "Super Glue" , Citadel Super Glue is even better. Industrial / craft types include Zap-A-Gap.

Just a drop is needed, replace the foamie, press it down so it seals against the bolt tip and wait a minute or two until it dries, less than five minute epoxy.

Watch planet eclipse's slomo videos for their cure bolts. That will help show why the foamie should be there. Granted, you won't see it as a real problem unless you're shooting extremely fragile paint at very high rates of fire, but anything helps.

We had a mag that blew foamies off no matter how we secured it in. Finally we trimmed the "wings" off on the side toward the paintball and it has stayed since. My guess is that the air turbulence catches on them and rips them off.

I want to thank everyone that posted regarding the importance of the foamies. Excellent information and good tips. Changed my mind about them.
