Has anyone ever set up an indoor shooting range for their paintball guns?

I did this last night and it worked.

I doubled up an old bed sheet and attached it to the floor joists in my basement. (unfinished basement)

Then, I tied the bottom corners to something so that he sheet was tight, but not too tight.

I then stood back about 10 feet and shot into the sheet. The sheet absorbed the hits and the balls fell to the floor.

I am now working on a collection system, but I could shoot the same 20 balls over and over. Not sure how many times because I ran out of air.

It was fun...and sure does beat the heck out of dry firing all the time. :D

i've chronoed some of my guns that way. if you don't want to worry about maby the mess of acidentally breakin a ball.
check out phazerballs. they are 30something cents a pop, but they are reusable, and a soft rubber, glow in the dark, and bounce.

Yep, I actually did that about a week ago. I took 2 saw horses, nailed on some boards and wala. I shot it, it hit the first sheet then dropped into another sheet where they all collected. I've got a aircompressor hooked up to my bushy so I get to shoot as much as I want :p
