One thing I dont like about 90 degree frames is they are too tall.
Anyone ever thought about making a shorter version ?
Like Intelliframe height ?

It may be something to consider for a future project, but I have several frames ahead of it. ;)

By that you mean your own designs ?

Interesting.

i agree that the vertical frames are too tall, perhaps it was done for grip consistency with other vertical frames?

but it does make most setups with vert frames look unbalanced

I'm sure when these guys were making 90 frames for the mag, that was the main reason behind it.

As far as I know it was so they could use Angel grips. Now I have an inventory of aluminum Vert panels that must go. ;)

A shorter 90* frame is a good idea and is now currently on my to-do list. I'm thinking I will move the ‘Mini-Vert Frame’ to the #3 slot to replace the frame I had slated for that spot. :D

Grip options were indeed the reason why shorter vert frames were never made. Back in the day, buyers wanted a frame that would use the different options that Angel grips offered. The very first CAD ever created for a RPG Vert frame was a short version. It was scrapped for the taller version.

The Angel frames were made that tall to accommodate boards/electronics. Which was also a benefit for those who wanted to use them as a sleeper pneumatic frame.

Personally, I don't mind the longer length of 90* frames. A shorter version would be interesting as long as it is capable of accomodating pnuematics. I'd be more interested in something like the M90, but in a 45 or similiar frame. Something that is pretapped for pneumatics. +1 if it comes sleeper capable as well.

Actually I should get $3K for the first one. ;)
The idea is the easy part. :D

Tell you what, put together a preorder for 25 and I'll give you #26. Deal?

You come up with something new and innovative (like this forum seems to encourage)
and I'll buy one.
