So those of you who have one, what do you think? How is the recharge rate? Would you only recommend using it for RTing? Would you use it on a pneumag? Or with a ULT trigger on/off? I'm curious what your thoughts are before I purchase one of these regs.

I will be testing mine tomorrow on my E-Mag ( currently stuck in mech mode... Damn you old battery packs!) and i'll post my findings when i get home :)

Cool let me know. See I have a smart parts max flo adjustable reg that I set to about 900 psi to RT like crazy. So do I really need this reg? I do need to replace one of the regs on one of my other tanks. So I'm not sure if I should get the ninja SHP or the regular ninja adujstable reg that goes up to 850 psi. I want to primarily use it on a pneumag or a ULT trigger x-valve. Anyway, I've heard good things about these ninja regs and I'm ready to give ninja a try.

Mags like higher pressures, if you gotta replace an old reg, get ninja to reg swap and hydro your tank, (It's fairly cheap as well)

We'll see how I run tomorrow, then I can be less vague ;)

I use mine with my Emag, and xvalve with ULT and it works great on all of them. I highly recommend it. There is no doubt it is worth the $50 they charge for it.

I'm not sure if you have seen the review, but this might help:

I believe there is a thread in the dealers forum. If that doesn't work I got mine through compulsivepaintball.com

bpsimpson22, I think looking for the same thing you are. I too have a max flo and my xvalve also RTs very well at 850-900psi (anymore more than that and its way to much) i was lookn to setup a 2nd lighter tank and wanted to put a sipmle preset/ screw in style high flo reg.

I also foung on the Gorilla's myth reg that they offer a high pressure part kit (#104D) that puts out 800-900. Does anybody have any feed back on this reg and kit combo??

I have a standard ninja hp reg (850 or whatever) and one of the 1200psi ones from last year or so. The 1200 lives on my mag all the time and I've never had an issue with recharge. I can RT through an entire hopper (high capacity rotor) without missing a beat at at least 15 bps.

My conclusion:Ninja makes good stuff and they will probably continue to get my business.

Just clocked my mag with a tuned X-Valve using the new Ninja SHP reg with the AGD logo at 20 bps without skipping a beat. Comes from Ninja set at 1,100 psi. The new reg can be adjusted to 950 psi. That's what makes this new Ninja SHP reg unique. The custom regs ninja made in the past for mag owner are not adjustable...the SHP reg is. Another great product from Ninja... :headbang:

Thanks guys for your input. You have convinced me to give the SHP reg a try. I'm going to try and go get one on Saturday. My input to come ...

Picked up the SHP reg this morning. Took out a shim to get down to the 950 output. Put it on an X-Valve mag with a ULT on/off. WOW! It rips! Had a lot of RT bounce with 4 ULT shims so I removed 1 shim, and then 1 more shim. Got less bounce but then I ran out of air so I need to play with it some more and fine tune everything. Thus far I am very happy with this reg. Nice work Ninja.

FOOGLEMAN: The field you played X-ball at allows you to "legally" RT the lights out of your opponents?

Yes and no, My gun is stuck in mech mode, so I cant "walk" it up to match my opponents, so I got a bit of leeway yesterday, I'm certain I wont be allowed to do it again :P
