I'm not sure if he is still selling them, but there was a guy who made a "bone" rechargable battery pack. I had one and it worked awesome, saved me a ton of money in batteries.

I don't know anything about the conversion though.

It's simple, just solder a second 9v connector in parallel with the one already there and your good to go with two batts.
I also use a couple pieces of thin foam on top and under the batteries to prevent rattling.

Just buy the 9-volt conversion from Empire it's like 9-10 works on the Halo, Prophecy and Magna.

my halo uses 6 AA batteries now. id like to change it my self to work off the 9 volt batteries only. i need info on anyone thats done this conversion on there own. any ideas, picture by picture instructions & etc... :)
