Ok, so besides the Tunablade which is sweet, what other emag/xmag triggers are available?

Any custom shops making any?

Yes, sorry forgot to add him in there. I have emailed him to see if he's ready, he was relocating last I heard from him.

Thanks though..

not too many options...
There's also the Fireblade trigger (I've heard of people having problems w/ them, never owned or used one myself)
p8ntbal4me also released a v2 version of the fireblade trigger a while ago

magnus was supposed to release emag versions of the sabre and talon triggers but that project is either still in the works or just never happened due to lack of interest.

there are also a number of custom variations of the stock trigger

basically, if you're looking to buy something new, Acid Customs is your only option right now (when he's able to take on new work again)
otherwise just have to keep scouring the b/s/t threads and have a lot of patience.

As a side note, ACID Customs is doing work in aluminum as well. At least last time I dealt with him.

Haven't used it yet so I can't tell how good or bad it is. I love my Tunablade though...

I've thought about it but I thought the market was flooded.
I believe I have a stock trigger I could design off of...

I did hear word from Acids so thats good hopefully can get something custom done., ^ but yeah would love to see what you can do Luke count me in for 1st one when/if you get it going. Thats how much faith I have in you man. All polished 1 for me!

Fireblade looks cool MPSD, Heres a nice style on a SFL..maybe the one twilight said?

Another style trigger that would look sick on emags, so simple and smoothed out, double groove would be sick also.

This Trig is just bananas

The trigger with the Airwalk frame is from Dan at Triggernomics (aka Maghog, http://triggernomics.us/). He's done some beautiful work, and not just with triggers alone. Looks like his work on the SFL too, but I could be wrong... it's a tough angle.

That's like super old school with the trigger shoes, or pants.... depending on who made it lol.

Just thought I might add this in here, I recently switched a trigger in my emag and the original trigger magnet was gold for the HES. The new trigger had a silver magnet for the HES which basically did not work after minutes of trying to adjust with no luck, I then installed the old gold magnet into the new trigger and it worked right away.

Is there a difference between gold and silver magnets with the HES?or did I just have a bad silver magnet?

could be different strength magnets? the one could have been too strong and you cant adjust it far enough away, or too weak.

Did you try the magnet on both sides.

The Hall switch will only respond when the polarity is correct, You could have had the magnet flipped in the wrong direction.

I'm working on an Emag trigger. My initial focus is just the operating geometry not really cosmetics, although I have a few preliminary designs I like.
So what do you guys “need” in an Emag trigger?
I see some triggers have a bearing and some without.
Also, some have a large set screw about the same size as the magnet, why is that?
Thoughts, ideas?

I think a bearing trigger would be nice but not really a must (for me any way) I would like something that would have a little forward arc to it like a Tunablade had . It has made it easier for me to walk triggers like that. But really as long as it works and looks good i would consider it for my other set of lowers.

What I would like is an Emag trigger with a set screw in the top to adjust the forward travel. It could actually replace the top trigger magnet because it is magnetic itself. Also, the larger set screws are nice because they are easier to find replacements for if need be (for me anyway, can't speak for everyone). Having it the size of the magnet is just unnecessary though.

Ok so on my mission to find a sweet trigger for one of my emags, I was able to contract John at ACID Customs and collaborated with him on a complex trigger design. I think he freakin nailed it and made a statement showing his quality of work...if your into trigger manufacturing I think you could tell this was not easy. hats off to John...

That is pretty sweet!!!

Makes me wishI had more motivation to finish all those little mag add on custom projects from way back, like a set of custom triggers from two years ago... still half finished waiting for final shaping.

Seeing this cool trigger makes me feel like finishing mine now more.

Well here is another amazing Emag trigger I had done by another very unique person Mr. Dan.

This one took some time and it was a pleasure chatting with Dan back and forward.Truly unique artist, this trigger is going in a special gun.

^ Will do. Its gonna be a bit for a finished full gun pic but I will be able to test it for sure though and update you with results. Figured I post this up since you been trending lately on here :D .

Post up those cool emag triggers here that you guys have in the works, I like seeing different ones. I am glad this thread has motivated and inspired some to create new emag triggers.
