which tank should i look into?

So I've been out of the game for a while. However, I got the inspiration to build a sweet mag. So that being said, i need a new HPA system. 68/4500 carbon fiber is what i want, but i want a good reg. as well. my choices are between crossfire, pmi or guerrilla air w/ myth G2 reg.

any thoughts? I had a crossfire back in the day and it was good. i assumed much has not changed in this market....

p.s. its going to a cp direct mount, x-valve, mounted in a noxious body/rail combo, a lapco bigshot 12'', and some kind of frame. im feelin a y-grip.

The best bang for your buck is gonna be a SHP Ninja tank set at 950psi unless you really want to have your mag RT all the time then go with the 1100psi reg

ninja huh? they have solid, consistent regs? i dont know about the company...

They have the best recharge rate for just about any gun these days as well they have and old tech from AGD working there as he helped push for the design along with demand from us consumers for a mag only HPA reg so now they have released not too long ago gun specific regs one model being the SHP in either 950psi or 1100psi output

+1 more for Ninja. I was in the same boat as you... out of the game forever and come back to find that none of the old tank manufacturers exist. Ninja has GREAT tech support, built in the USA (Illinois), and is consistant as hell. I bought a used classic RT off the forum, rebuilt it, hooked up my Ninja and can shoot +- 3 FPS all day.

They are slightly more expensive but WELL worth it... a US built tank to go with your US built gun. Try and find that combination at the field!

Personally i would go with the new Crossfire Reg. I have a few of them. My mags RT at will and are very consistent, never had an issue with them. The new ones can be rebuilt at home, and they are offering kits to change the output pressure of them. They just seem to be a little more consistent than the Ninjas and recharge just as fast. I get better RT action off my
Crossfires at 850 than i did with my friends Ninja at 950.

Crossfire, pmi, ninja are the way to go. steer clear of the myth regs horrible recharge and inconsistent output.

If I didn't have a 1000psi NitroDuck iReg as my workhorse tank reg, I'd be getting the Ninja SHP set at 950 psi. And I wouldn't hesitate to kick it up to 1100psi if the moment called for it. ;)

while yes ninja and another local Guerilla Air are pretty good, their regs are too small if you use a drop.

Another vote for Ninja. I ordered a tank from them last year before they started marketing the new SHP reg and they put it together special for me @ 1200 psi. It's simply awesome.

Customer service was amazing too. Rob spent most of a half hour talking to me on the phone to make sure I got what I needed.

I would also go with a Ninja system. I have four or five of them now. They build great regs and have been for a lot longer than most people realize. They were building regs and stuff for other companies before they decided to do their own brand. Also, as mentioned by others, they provided excellent customer service. They're all really good guys.
