So saturday I'm looking at the local Craigslist and I spy an old Matrix.
Always wanted to try one so I text the guy for a price, and then later meet up and buy it.

Never had a Matrix before .
The LPR leaks but this thing really rips.

I'm an instant fan of these things.

And for the price its a keeper too.

Anyone else have one of these things that you still play with ?

Nice score.
I enjoyed mine when I had it.
If I had the cash I'd get another and get my "Cereal Killer" design lasered on it. My buddy at the time I had mine was not confident in his skills with his laser engraver to attempt what I wanted.

i had one back in the day for a couple years, they shoot pretty good for being the size of anti-tank weapons.

boy those guns get around.

Thats a 1 of 25 toxic matrix made for Lost Boys (and Emanon, their lower div team) from late 2003. I used to practice with the team captain.

Looks like a few parts have been swapped (reg, feedneck, ASA) but otherwise still looks original and in great condition.

If you can find an evolve gold bolt, that will out shoot most current markers.

he ain't lying there... they were the rampers and tourny cheaters favorite markers due to all the cheater software available. maybe that is just where i was at, but i saw it constantly with those. the whole "double switch" ramp to semi with the switch when it was supposed to be in "lockout" mode.

These are my second favorite guns.

I have one as well but it is totally maxed out internally. It has the delrin bolt and top hat kapp. The kapp makes it fairly efficient reducing the size of the shot chamber. It also has a hybrid frame and tadao board. It operates at 10 ms dwell with no FSDO :D

Here you can see the differences, and some of these parts are very hard to find.

This piece eliminates a part by incorporating it into one piece instead of two. Dwaine Parsons made a few of these for personal use.

O, and the gold bolt is not worth crap without the delrin bolt, and improper setup will brake it.

That's a nice one you have there.

I have this one with all original bolt internals. It has a Virtue board and eyes, so it gets along well. Other than the solenoid, there's nothing a set of o-rings won't fix. I think of playing with it like driving a 60s Cadillac; lots of chrome (and nickel), smooth, quiet, heavy, fast in one direction. :)

Entropy on PBN had an '03 matrix that literally shot a rope of paint out the front with a q-loader- I've also owned one for many years and consider it my "other mag". They've got a bit of parts, but when you throw a pair of AKA regs on there with a UL frame and a nice Tadao board you can rip with the cool kids in retro style.

One of mine... I would say my favorite of the harem.
