ive learned that especialy when signing up for hot mail there are sertain tricks you can use to not get any or hardly any junk mail.

1. when it asks for your interests/hobbies DONT PUT DOWN ANYTHING.

2. follow rule number one for everything else that is not required.

3. if it is required (like household income i think) choose the lowest you can... in other words if they think your cheap they wont bother you.

4.if you get a fwd: mail then you can read it but dont send it to anyone the fwd: has to end with you. poeple use fwd: messages for transmitting virus', finding out which people will acually send the stuff, and just plain fun. if you think you can figure out which it is then go ahead.

5. if you get any junk mail dont delete it! block it and if this option is open to your use block the service provider if you know that none of your friends or family use that provider.

6. NEVER put your email in a blank on a web page (unless subscribing to paintball things:D most of them are safe) because they will sell your email to the highest(and lowest) bids.

hope this helps

We need to send these advertisers a message! Too many popups! Too many Comercials, and ADs EVEN IN MOVIES!!!! THIS HAS TO STOP!!! Do they learn anything? More ads means boring consumer which means more money to spend placing ads. THEY ARE STUPID!!!! Whos with me!!!??? Oh, and SPAM mail too...he he he he!!!

i'd try sending an email to support@aol.com or abuse@aol.com it may do the trick. all else fails i think the owner of aol is named steve so you could try steve@aol.com (yah right like he'll read it.)

Last time I got bombed like that was when someone in my company had a virus that kept sending email to everyone on their list. Went on for 2 weeks before IT got it fixed. Nothing like hundreds and hundreds of virus infected mail.

I get tooooooo much junk mail, I can't block anymore people because I have over 300 blocked people, so I now use my junkmail feature, and I STILL get tons of junkmail!

ENDO!

With Outlook, everytime I get a peice of junk mail I create a rule to delete any mail that ever comes from that address again.

What I have been doing lately though, is auto directing all my spam mail to the email addresses of the guy who hacked my D2X account.

I hope he's crying now.
