I tried putting a lever switch in like this movie shows but it either just jams up on the lever or keeps spinning there was no adjustments i found that got it to work any suggestions other than get a new hopper?

Make sure you have your switch wired correctly. If the motor runs while the switch lever is depressed, it's wrong. That would mean a full ball stack would continuously run the motor. What you want is for your motor to run when the switch lever is not depressed. That will tell the motor to run when there's a gap in the ball stack.

the motor is wired properly and works as should when switch is depressed it shuts motor off, but its like the motor either can or cannot provide enough power to make balls press lever or vice versa depending upon how much i bend the lever out so i dont know what to try.. is there any way to wire eyes in instead of a lever switch?
