We received a phone call very early Friday morning. My wife's(Ginny) mother(Neva Peters) had died. 94+ years old, survived by 9 of her 12 children. We know we will see her again. At a young age she acknowledged that she was a sinner(Romans 3:23), that she could die in her sin(Romans 6:23), that the only answer was Christ blood and offer of salvation(Ephesians 2:8&9). That she had to ask Him into her heart(1st John 1:9 ). She did. She is no longer here. But she waits in Heaven for the rest of us to get There. Someday it will be.
As a side note she was against our marriage. She felt I was not good enough for her daughter. To be honest I was not. Through growth and spiritual maturity I hope I am becoming the husband my wife deserves.
