Two 10-32 screw mount>
http://i550.photobucket.com/albums/ii405/mtumbleson/RTPstyleforegrip.jpg

Both would come with Lukes Customs milled in the side along with some kind of "side milling".
Both are gas-through.

I like the look of these. I was actually thinking about something like this for my minimag.

You know I'm in for two. My one question is how deep is the groove on the top? It looks rather shallow.

My one question is how deep is the groove on the top? It looks rather shallow.

It's about 0.100"
Depth really shouldn't be an issue, it's only there to keep the fg from spinning. If it's tight it wont go anywhere. ;)

EDIT: The fillet on the side did steal some of the depth of the dove tail cut; I made the adjustment to deepen the mount.

Ok, i realize its only there to keep it from spinning, but aesthetics are important as well. Adjustments look better.

Have you decided what kind of side milling might go on these?

Any idea how this would look with a dallara body? I thought about using one for a project gun sitting on the workbench.

I like them, I may be interested in one pending the price, one of the middle ones most likely. for the RTP

Middle two are what I am after. An alternate design would be something similiar to the CNC Emag battery cases. Something to flow with the Dallara body would be awesome.

I would also like to express my interest in having a Dallara-style gas-thru.

That comment was made in jest, just a polite way of saying it aint gonna happen especially in a run of 10 pieces. ;)

I'm willing to do a run of these in small numbers because the design and programining is done. :)

It’s a mute point but, if I had files I could pull geometry off the other parts that would make the design a piece of cake, but I know better to even make a request like that. I know what goes into it and to ask someone to give that work away is more than just a little tacky.

on the note of CNC battery packs,

luke will you ever get a milling option on the battery pack that is identical or as close to the cnc design battery packs.

All side milling is done.
The RTP style mount foregrips are done! (not the powder coating).

All that is left is the Automag mount machining.

Thanks, This was not the original plan but I was doing a batch of Saiga rifles in that pattern and I thought it might look good so I ran it with that batch. Your logo looks just fine the Cerakote is so thin that it does not fill in the engraving. As for the milling for the pump we were spot on! Thanks for working with me on the pump modification. Turned out great!

Yes we can do almost any pattern or design with Cerakote, it just requires a modified cure schedule to allow the layers to bond together properly.

Sorry for the piss-poor quality of these pictures, all I have for a camera right now is my Iphone. Just got mine from Luke today and put it on the Pheonix that I'm building. I think it looks great with this body. Getting it and the barrel anno'd gloss to match soon.

^nice, that's the exact setup I have (minus the new grip of course)

Do you plan to use the gas-thru feature or just run macro straight to the valve? The height difference between the foregrip and the M90 makes for an awkward fittings situation.

I will be using a Bob Long Gear drive that is sleeper modded. I'll have to check how I'll go to the foregrip, but will use it at a gas thru.

Probably similiar to this:
