Classic RT Question

Hello,

I recently purchased a Classic RT. while going over it I noticed 2 small holes on the rear flat of the rail. I cant tell if they are threaded or not. Are they on all Classic RT rails or were the added? What are they used for? :confused:

The classic RT uses a hollow, gas thru rail. Those holes are there for optional equipment such as a gauge. They must be plugged or the marker will leak.

I understand that part. The holes I am talking about are on the very back of the rail, maybe 1/8" ? Thanks for getting back to me! :D

the small holes on the back of the rail are airpaths that connect the holes through the rail

Yes... 211 got it.

These are the main holes that connect the side air ports together.

It just gives air passage to all the ports so the air can reach the valve through the banjo bolt, if you decide to use any one of the ports available, or if you put an attachment on there it gets supplied with air also.

They are plugged with locktited set/grub screws to prevent leaking, pretty toughto get out but possible if needed.

Their the passages through which air travels to each of the ports on the back of the rail and to the valve itself by the banjo bolt. They drilled down the rail to the banjo opening and then tap and seal the passages with set screws.

THANKS!!!! I may find a nice stainless screw to put in them to snazzy things up a bit. Probobly just leave the set screws in there and see if I can cover them with the stainless!
