Well I was wanting a bit more power from my warpfeed and and twelve volts sounded like a great idea. The motor would turn but eventually it would slow down. And that would simply not due.

Simply not good enough.

Then I ran across this gem. Dual Capacitors! God I love things that can kill me. :headbang:

Busted out the soldering iron and went to work. And built this Beast.

Now we all know that warpfeed is no slim Mistress of the night. But more like the beer chics you would see at Octoberfest in Munic. They are a little large but can carry a lot of beer.

But as big as the warp feed is there was no room for this device of evil.

With a little outside the box ingenuity and a little celebratory cigars I had a tasteful solution. The Cigar container had enough room to hold the new mod.

Looks fine It should work.

MURPHY'S LAW IS A REAL B***H

In the process of the install I Broke the main wires from board to the Motor

Oh the hate. I re soldered the wires and managed to attach tube to the assembly

Testing Time... ITWORKS

And this It all mounted up and ready to go.

Very nice bro.

I don't get it. Did you add two capacitors to up the amperage? The standard 12v mod seems to work for me.

Don't read me wrong, looks like a solid job, I'm just curious. :)

Looks good.

Another option is RC plane/car batteries
The 11.9v RC plane LiPo batteries will out pull two 9 volt batteries even wired in series at 18 volts in my experience. They recharge and a 12 volt LiPo battery and charger is around $40 or less. They can be found small enough to fit inside the case as well but I got a huge one that I velcro to my shell similar to the way you did the cap case.

Will the RC plane battery work with the VIB sensor, or do you need the capacitor?

I would think it will work just fine since it is a plug in upgrade with no regulator needed. All you do is match polarity and solder a new plug in place of or in line with the old 9 volt one. I run a intella setup to tell my warp when I pull the trigger so I dont use the vib sensor.

Do not reverse polarity even for a second or you will loose the board.

This is on a 9.6 volt rc plane batery.

Just think about 11 volts hehe

What is was The problem when i used the non caped. the 12 volt reg could not pull the juice i wanted.. so i picked up the caps from good old radio shack.. I will have to get a pick of the setup and post it.

What i need to do next is get in on that pre order for the new Emag board taxes are in.

Love the rt on that minimag you have. I need to get a higher pressure higher volume HPA Bottle.
