Neat rail. Who made it? Did you cut it from an existing rail (or slug) or is it all new?

Palmers can mod there regs so that they output lp out of the top and hp out of the side port, perfect for these type of set ups, and you don't have to run 2 hoses off the asa

Here is my old pneumag/egomag setup:

Palmers Fatty
http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u110/lasrsktr/Paintball/IMG_6717Large.jpg

Also had a Palmers Stab Dual tapped for HP input/outputs.

The palmers fatty was rock solid and would suggest that to anyone looking.

I love the way you used the EGO vert ASA.

Nice renie!

If you take pictures again, how about one from the front or back? That looks interesting the way you have the sides flushed up.

What is the story with the two screws in the back of the frame? Just separate frame and valve screws?

Glad you managed to get it shooting ok with a bit of fiddling last night

Hopefully we'll be able to fine tune it on Sunday?

I would guess the trouble is with the location of the ram. As high as it is hitting the sear arm it is probably making it inconsistant. Thus the need for the spring on the sear arm and it may cause reset issues down the road. If not that is a good idea for pneumags of all sorts.

the problem i was getting hill was it was skipping a shot or 2 on high rof but imnot sure if that was my bottle again not recharging the valve quick enough?? ive put the return spring in just in case but will try on another bottle on sunday :)

on another thought it could be my dwell setting may be a bit high, ill haveto check what the virtue board is set at

hill160881
03-01-2012, 08:45 AM
Set the dwell at 15-18ms. I can run mine as low as 11 ms but that will cause excessive sear where. You want the on off engaged keeping the sear down and out of the way of the bolt untill the bolt has finished its backwards travel to prevent it from riding on the sear.

how many shims in my ult do u think?

hill160881
03-01-2012, 09:16 AM
I don't use them so I dont know. The ult is a pain in the arss. Haha.

renie
03-01-2012, 09:37 AM

renie

As soon as I am at a computer I will explain pin length, dwell, and how they effect efficiency, timing, and wear and tear on the bolt/sear.

I can't help it i enjoy the build :) cant wait to rock out with it on sunday

Hill: the dwell has to be low due to the position of the rammer i adjusted it .5 at a time till it sweet spotted :) exessive wear's not a major problem as my sears are slightly softer than agd originals and i got 50;)
